It's not quite as good as the old location because of the lack of a pool table, but Bridie is an excellent waitress and really cool. The gumalaya is legendary in every sense of the word
We love this place because we can eat healthy. There’s a great choice of vegetables. Everyday we get great vegetable choices. We do eat here most days, so I feel I can give a truthful review because I’ve had several different things. Most of the time we get the Starkville style chicken breast, just enough heat not too spicy or I get the dry rub which is Dawgy style. Several choices of vegetables daily. Also, days when I just need something fried, green tomatoes are cooked to perfection, fried pickles, mushrooms and too many things to list that are sooooo good! And they have a vegetarian burgerThank you Stagger in! And great service! ❤️❤️❤️
LOVE The Stagger In! The Topless Hot Chick (grilled, plain - not hot) is my go-to every single time! Texas toast, topped with 2 chicken tenders, crinkle fries, queso cheese dip, & crunchy bacon bits, with ranch dressing to drizzle on top! Yum!!!Edited after reading other reviews: Don’t come if you’re a stick in the mud. The Stag has great food, friendly staff, and YES, slightly risqué names on their menu. It’s all in good fun! We bring our two sons, who are currently 10 & 17, here often - we do make it a point to come earlier in the evening, but my gosh - your children read worse on YouTube videos. I have eaten here twice: the first was ok, but the second time I couldn’t finish my food. My main complaints are not of the food though. StaggerIn is located on campus property which has a no smoking policy, yet you will be bombarded by cigarette smoke while walking up to the door. In a previous review of someone mentioning smoking, StaggerIn responded and said they will look into it, but they have actually embraced it and put an ash tray outside. There is also usually a mix of cigarette butts, broken glass, spilled food/drinks, trash, and sometimes even vomit outside/in close proximity to the entrance. On many occasions I have also heard older men cat call college girls walking into the apartments. Overall this is not an environment for most people. Even the menu items are not family friendly (such as the “Topless hot chick” sandwich). If you do come, be aware of (current) parking options as they frequently change and tow trucks are active. There is a small amount of designated parking and signs are typically posted on the door. Sorry stag.In response to owner:I respect a quick response because it shows you do care. Please take my review into consideration and care about a few more things. I do not think it takes a sense of humor to understand your menu item referring to a naked girl, I think it takes immaturity. Next, I do not have any cat calling on video because I do not walk around with my camera out? I am referring to three girls I know personally and around 5 more that came forward in a resident group message. Lastly College View apartments is not responsible for picking up all the trash that comes from stagger in. The majority of the trash has your logo on it, and college view is not the ones selling beer from the glass bottles that get broken.
I like Stag. I come here a couple times a month at least since they opened the new location. Food is pretty good but there are no healthy options if that’s what you’re looking for. Drinks are alright. The ambiance is very bland and boring like waiting in a doctors office. I usually get the fried chicken sandwich and it’s great. Tonight I tried the “Boardtown Bird” and that’s why I decided to finally leave this review. I was really disappointed. It sucked to be one of their signature dishes. The service here is really bad, unless you sit at the bar (where there is a 50/50 chance you’ll get good service) or Alyssa Miller is your server. She’s always great. The waitresses otherwise seem to care more about chatting amongst themselves than giving you good service. If I could have left a 2.5 I would have, but rounded up to 3 since that’s my option. The food is okay, the service is pretty bad, and there is no place to park. I’d go somewhere else if you can.
The food was pretty good, I went there yesterday (March 14,2022). The place smelled STRONGLY of cigarettes, though. Terrible service though, our waitress was constantly on her phone literally snap chatting and texting. We needed her for our check ,and we couldn’t seem to get her attention because she was busy talking to the bartender. Also over priced for the wings.
I absolutely loved my experience at stag. The food was amazing and the girls were stunning. The two blonde waitresses that looked like twins were my favorite. They recommended the wings. I was not disappointed they were amazing. 10/10 will be coming back
Came in with my woman. All we heard as soon as we walked in was "SIT ANYWHERE YOU LIKE". Startled but was able to find sitting. Service was questionable because we waited a long time to be served. Besides that the food was nice and the environment was good. But, the problem was that, our sever would be talking and or on her phone. This happen multiple times. We had to ask another sever to help us. So, overall food is good but the service was bad.

First time in last Friday met the owner Jason he was extremely friendly even though he’s a Bama fan (RiP) ha. Got greeted by all the servers. Food and drinks were great and came out fast. I recommend the Gumbalaya nachos. Heard the cook who makes the gumbo was from New Orleans (and handsome and funny) so I had to try it. I must say it was worth coming in for ??The red headed server we had was very polite and friendly and her only mistake was not recommending the wings sooner than she did. They were the biggest and best I’ve had in a while. 10/10 will be back as long as they will play LSU games on at least one tv ?
