Location has limited hours due to staffing. Got there at 2:10 pm with a close sign of 4 pm. Crew was already in closing mode. All the teas were being drained with 2 hours to go until close. Couldn’t even get a refill. Being the only customers in restaurant the food still took almost 15 minutes to get to table(only 2 sandwiches and a salad). Definitely not Newk’s standards for service. They were out of Newk’s signature Pimento Cheese so we couldn’t get it on one of our sandwiches. When we travel through Southaven again we will definitely find an alternate location for lunch. Big disappointment for a $52 checkFollowup 5/23. After posting this, the Social Media people responded and asked me to give them feedback. Went to their site, filled out their survey and site wouldn’t submit. Total waste of time. I then went to corporate website to contact them and leave a message about this visit. Absolutely no reply back from them or any senior operations management. Wow. A great company that is already past it’s prime

I'm a huge fan of those salads! One can feed 2 people.. Massive and fresh !

At my location, they had no one working the kitchen, so understaffed and the food wasn't that good. I went to get soup and they had no soup besides Gumbo which like I said, wasn't very good. I don't think it was the staffs fault though. But on a good day when they have lobster and crab bisque I love it!

Not what I expected in a pizza but it was ok. I tried the chicken salad it was ok as well. No real complaints the staff was nice and friendly enough. I was just trying something new.

Just terrible just pity fall ordered a Portobello Pizza I don't know what they gave me it was a mess very greasy oily very just a mess .

Been eating here since they opened this location and used to love it. Since it reopened after covid it just hasn't been the same. The staff is awful and the quality of food has gone way down. Today I called to see if they were open since they never are any more. A young lady answered the phone, was very polite and helpful. She said yes come on in. I drive over, walk in and there's 4-5 employees in there. They look at me and say "we're closed, we don't open till 11. I ask "is this the phone number here" and read off the number I had just called. They said it wasn't. So thinking I had maybe called a different location I go back to my car and call again. Literally watched the guy answer the phone. The same guy who just told me it wasn't the right number!

I placed my first online order this visit. I showed up 5 minutes early and it wasn't ready yet. They brought it out one minute before the time I scheduled. So the food was hot and fresh. I have food allergies and have always had a good experience with newks providing a safe meal.

I love the operating/crew . Always greet you with a smile and prepares my order with care.

Newks is hit or miss these days, which is sad. I LOVE their food. The problem is they just can't get it together when they are going to be open for dine-in or doing carryout only...or sometimes closing in the middle of the day! I've seen it all with them...sometimes the answer changes in a span of 30 minutes. I get that everyone has staffing issues these days...but not everyone opens, closes, half-opens, then shuts down altogether in the span of one day. (I promise I'm not exaggerating).I hope they can get it together...we've all but stopped going because I'm not taking my food to go and I hate getting my hopes up!

We don’t live in MS anymore and really miss Newk’s, so we stop at this one when visiting family. It’s been about two years since our last visit, and it’s really gone downhill. Trash on tables, staff mingling with one another, texting, and had headphones in instead of working. Our Newk’s Q had hardly any white BBQ sauce and very dry chicken. Salad had stale croutons and old lettuce. Tea was also syrupy. We’ll just pass this one next time and try Oxford’s out.
