On 7/30/22 we visited this establishment. Our service and server was TERRIBLE
Good food great people, much better than it looks!!
service was slow at first but was corrected and everything turned out great!
I don't know where to begin family. The Entrance to the restaurant was clean and simple. The inside was also clean I might add the service was great the gal that served us was nice and knowledgeable about the menu and the food that is on the menu. When we were there their was military and fighter people and they have military discount which all restaurants should have. My only gripe is that they charge you like an extra $2.00 or so for Chips and salsa which if you go to a Mexican restaurant you know that they usually give you chips and salsa for free plus refills! Their was a missing man table honoring those fallen soldiers which you don't see that in restraunts these days.
Maria's Cantina provided subpar (read: slow) service and mediocre Mexican food. I came with 7 other people, and I was disappointed that such sluggish service accompanied the 20% automatic gratuity (for groups 7+).Regarding the food, the fajitas were just okay while the pork tacos were unbearably dry. Their offerings pale in comparison to other restaurants I've visited. If you want to waste your money and time, stop by.
The food is sup par at best and some is just horrible depending on what you get. A few years back I got the chicken tacos and they tasted like they come straight out of a pond extremely nasty dirty tasting fish. So a few years ago by decide to try it again and that was a mistake. The service was mediocre at best and that's some point it lacked a lot like you would have to look around and see where your waitress or waiter was and wonder why they weren't trying to come over to your table. The tequila lime chicken. Was one of the worst dishes I've ever tasted from this place, the chicken came out of a can and you can taste it, basically canned chicken with a bad lime sauce skip that dish. The Latin grilled shrimp quesadilla was okay little bland if you didn't put guacamole on it, the sweet tea tasted like it's been in the same container for 2 weeks before they even served it to you, had that really bad nasty aftertaste that old tea would give. I would say for the price you pay for the food here is not up to par and there are far better places you can get good food from on this area.
This place was packed, but the wait for a table wasn't bad. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. The food and drinks were plentiful and AMAZING. This was my sisters first time going, and all they talked about was how they'd be back. Highly recommended!!
Showed up at 9:03. The open sign was lit and the door said they are open till 10. The person who greeted us at the front door was rude and said they were closed. I asked to speak to a manager and a man and woman came up. The man was nice in his demeanor but the woman was combative and rude. She was not interested in hearing anything and only wanted to push me out the door. Horrible experience to the point i will be consulting with my lawyer. Dont go here if you are looking for friendly service.
Chili chamba pomegranate margarita everything was awesome and delicious service was great. I got plastic where to eat with the silverware was not clean to me
Food was great . The management is unprofessional and the server decided to add an additional tip for herself. And after calling and emailing the manager no response back. But I will not be returning because of the unprofessional manager and I hope Jess enjoyed tip but it was disputed.Update after consistent opportunities to fix my issue it wasn’t until I did a review anyone ever responded and I am in hospitality industry . But I know I will be patronizing this restaurant anymore.
