Went for lunch with old friends and took my 3 kids with us- party of 6. We were seated immediately. The hostess made sure to bring crayons and paper to keep the kids busy. I'm a widow with 3 kids ages 6 and under, so eating out with them can be very stressful. The staff helped to make this experience good. Food was good. Service was great. Thanks to our server, Amy. Good job!
Great food at all locations (I’ve been eating at the original on Madison since 1978). We ate lunch in Southaven today with our 3 year old granddaughter. Servers brought her crayons and a coloring sheet; also brought her order (mac & cheese) as soon as it was ready. (ours wasn’t ready yet). This is now one of only about three places we’ll take her and her 8 year old sister to eat. Child friendly and real food (not frozen and microwaved*) * The mac and cheese is packaged Kraft; that’s a good thing, since neither g’child will eat anything *but* Kraft ❤️
Great food, and a great waitress. Our glasses never got empty. They have a large menu, and for those of us plant-based, they will substitute Beyond, black bean, etc. burger patties on any of their multitude of burger combinations. Service was quick, despite the busy night.
We have been to 6 of the I think 9 locations now of Hueys Memphis area. This one is probably #3... food was good. Server sucked. Our favorite is still Midtown location - #1.
I enjoyed my experience overall for sure. I thought sarah my server was pleasant and attentive. I am not a meat eater except for fish, I saw they had beyond burger and black bean burger. I do enjoy the beyond, though I opted with the tuna steak burger with onion straws. I will say the tuna was a very thin cut wich makes it difficult to cook rare or even medium rare. I tried the tuna on it's own and was not the most pleased. I did though eat the sandwich and with the onion straws plus whatever sauce that was, it worked. I did not dislike, but would not order again. I will stick with veggie burgers next time for sure. I did enjoy the atmosphere and the music was nice plus food was quick to be delivered.
It was good, but busy. Our waiter was amazing but the kids at the table next to us were throwing food and menus and everything. (they were older than preschoolers). I felt the need to scoot the entire table away when I got hit with a fry. The everything was good, but the onion rings were awesome.
To-Go order! None of the food had any flavor. Tasted horrible! Not what we expected... On the Shrimp Po Boy, the shrimp was just breaded, no seasoning. The fries were hard and cold. The Madison burger did not have tomato. The bacon on the burger was hard and burnt. The spinach dip taste like vinegar! My family was not satisfied at all! We have eaten here before but probably won't be back.
I heard good things about the burgers at Huey's. I ordered the Bluff City with fries and it was good but not amazing. The patty was a bit thinner than I expected and it was ordered medium but closer to well-done. The service at this location was great though, friendly and quick on the sweet tea refills; even gave me a to-go cup for my last refill.
Great food and great service!!! We were there last night. I don't recall the name of the server, but she was a pretty blond with tattoos on her arms. I told her what a great job she was doing (around 8PM), and she told me she had been there since 10AM! I never would have known; she kept a smile on her face and was super attentive the whole time!
Food below average. Po’boy not very good. Shrimp was not whole shrimp. Bread was a hoagie roll not crusty French bread. Two tiny pieces of tomato sliced very thin. Lettuce didn’t seem very fresh.Overall I was very disappointed in the quality off Hendrix.
