Recently went here for Soul Food Sunday! I ordered the chicken and dressing with yams and rice. The food was overall good. The only knock to the food was the rice. The gravy saved it but it could have been a little more flavorful. The dressing was pretty good. I actually went for more on my wife's plate lol Yams was delish! Some of my family did say it was discrepancy when it came to the chicken ratio for them but I have a decent amount of chicken. Also, I heard the burgers and the philly is pretty good. Maybe I will give that a try next. I would recommend giving this place a try.

When I tell you good soul food! You better believe! They are amazing! Thank God for them. My family and I enjoy their cooking. That dressing is to die for!

I can't say enough about Ferdinands! Staff is warm, professional and friendly..but the food..the food is off the chain! Their fried catfish( not swai like a lot of other places sell as catfish) is the real deal Holyfield! Their entire menu is the shizzle and if you haven't been, you are depriving yourself of a soul food experience that is too notch!
You guys need to try their Alfredo it's delicious
Just heard about this locally owned restaurant today. I am so happy I did my husband and I had Catfish his had slaw and fries my spaghetti and fries. We had a small serving of the BBQ ribs. Omg everything was fabulous. Going back Tuesday for lunch with a friend.
I was waiting for my car to be serviced across the street from Ferdinand’s. So I decided to check it out. Oh boy, very awesome choice! My food was finger licking good. I had the rib plate and my sides were beans and fries. The ribs were so tender that they were falling off the bones. And of course the beans and fries were to my tongue liking as well. I got to meet the owner Mr. Ferdinand, very nice and pleasant. I will definitely be back soon and very soon. Alright Southhaven, Whitehaven and all surrounding areas let’s flood this place because you won’t be disappointed. The atmosphere is very nice, decorative and clean if you want to dine in and enjoy your food. Yum Yum good!!
First timer..it was good,fish wings, spaghetti..I will return for something different,I like the variety of choices they have.
I purchased a catfish plate with slaw and spaghetti !! I promise you it taste like your grandma was in the kitchen cooking! Also , had a beef hot dog!! Absolutely worth the money !! I will be back! My husband wanted some today but they are closed on Monday . See you Tuesday !! Lol!! Great people as well!
