This place is overhyped. Atmosphere was nice, but my husband's dish was bland and mine was way too salty. No sides or bread included in the price of meals, everything is a separate charge and portion sizes are small. Paid alot of $$ and left hungry.
Lovely evening dining at Elfo’s. The food was fabulous and the portions were large. We even brought some home. If you want true Italian food, this is your place.
This is a hidden gem, and had the best Italian food I've had outside Boston's North End. The chicken ravioli with a truffle sauce and apple cider reduction is not to be missed! Our server Ashton was really helpful with our questions about the dishes and his recommendations.
Go and try everything! Don’t miss the Elfo Special. The fillet is perfectly cooked and so tender. It is all SO good!
Absolutely the best!!! Great food!!! The people are so wonderful. Elfo Grisanti himself came to our table to introduce himself.I really like the atmosphere. Everything is very nice and clean. There is even a small romantic room off to the side. I would like to say a special Thank you to Janay for make our experience so special.
Service was ok, could have been better. Food was bland with no seasoning, cheese, or sauce. Alfredo sauce was watery with no flavor (tasted like creamer with a little butter added). It was over priced for the quality and taste of food.
I highly recommend their braised veal shank (not a regular menu item) and their lasagna (a very popular dish)! Definitely worth the drive! However, our gracious hostess (the owner's wife) and our very menu savvy waitress were the real treats of our evening! I recommend Elfo Grisanti's Restaraunt for any dining occasion. - Ben
