We stopped in for dessert late one night. There looked to be 5+ people working. It took about 10 minutes just to place our order and no one was waiting in front of us. It only took about 5 minutes to get our ice cream after we ordered and it tasted delicious. The staff could have been more friendly.
I absolutely LOVE DQs oreo blizzard. It is always tasty! But the rest of my order was wrong, the cashier charged me for pickles, lettuce, and tomato (because the combo I ordered didn't come with those items on the burger...no big deal but why when I got home, I noticed NONE of the items that I paid extra for was on my burger. It was just meat, bread, and mayo. My burger was HORRIBLE and my fries were way too salty. I was VERY disappointed and dissatisfied!!!!! ?
Needs way better customer service and quality. Beings that I'm in training to be a General Manager of a fast food restaurant I can see alot of things different now. I think the owner should check in with management and see what's going on?.
It took over 30 minutes to get a few blizzards. One worker looked like he hadn't washed his hair in days. Hardly anyone was wearing gloves. Drive-thru was backed up. This location is ridiculous.
This is the most preposterous fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve came to this Dairy Queen location multiple times and at first it was amazing but these last couple times was more disappointing than the next. For one the man in there has bad hygiene. I’ve never smelt someone so bad then he’s making and serving food ? Not washing his hands no gloves just awful. Another time I came I’m waiting in line for like 20 minutes trying to get ice cream for my kids and no one is answering so I drive around why do I see 3 guys outside chatting and smoking!!! Ridiculous like where are the managers ??? Then the ice creams is always melted and flavorless like I just can’t do Dairy Queen anymore if this is the type of service I get.
I would like to start this review by saying my husband has ‘food habits’. He likes the routine of having the same food or treat at least once EVERY SINGLE DAY! Weird, I know! But, I love him and it gives him some comfort or control on some level, so I accept it. Each food habit lasts from 6 weeks or so to 2 years, so far. We’ve been together for almost 20 years, so I know him well. For the last 12 months or so, maybe more, has been a ‘Reese’s peanut butter cup blizzard ’ from Dairy Queen. We have spent A LOT OF MONEY there in the last year! Not just on blizzards, but meals and other desserts for the family. I have seen the quality and service drop significantly over the last 2-3 months. So much so that I said ‘no more Dairy Queen’! The last experience was awful! At the window was a 20’s male with dirty fingernails, no gloves, and wiping the dripping ‘blizzard’ with a little piece of a napkin - then putting his sticky hands in the cash register. The ‘blizzard’ looked more like a milkshake with a clump of ice cream. I normally don’t decline food, but I asked if they could remake it- that it was liquid and not thick at all. He goes around the corner and comes back. Then another guy, with longish un-capped hair slams a blizzard on the counter and says to me, “that’s as thick as it’s gonna get.” Ummmm.... excuse me???? While we wait for dirty fingernail guy to finish talking to the kitchen staff (a good 2 minutes), our Blizzard is melting and dripping all over the counter, just for dirty fingernail guy to get his little piece of a napkin and smear around a sticky cup of slightly thicker Blizzard. I haven’t seen anyone resembling a manager or franchise owner there in many months. There used to be a worker there named Cory (it’s sad that I know his name) who took pride in product and service. I’m just saying Dairy Queen was one of our largest expenses of the month. Who is gonna get that now? Not YOU! Spend a little extra on a real manager and who knows, we may be back.
Oh geez, where do I begin...The owner of this location needs to be held accountable, and that will happen when the store is closed for violations. I'm not an inspector for the state, but this store is one of the worst. The lady who took my order, didn't give me an order number card. When I asked for one she said she'd remember me. After about 12-15 minutes of waiting, they approached my table and asked what I ordered. By then, my food was cold, and my ice cream had melted. There was no condiment caddies on tables, and the bathroom was nasty, and smelled like an unflushed urinal. The management, and owner should be ashamed of themselves for letting it go this far! Clean up this mess, or sell this valuable real estate to someone who will do something good with the space.
The food was cold. We had to wait a long time before anyone even greeted us. Service at the location on Getwell in Southaven sucks. The man who took our order was warting a nasty shirt and his hands looked as if he had just finished putting a motor in his car. NEED NEW STAFF IMMEDIAYELY!!!!
Horrible service. Just ordered chocolate dipped cones which took forever to get. When the guy finally made them he just set the messy, dripping cones up for us to grab. Another customer's regular cones were melting just sitting there.
the dude that took my order in the drive thru was being so rude when i asked him about my chocolate allergy and when i called the store to make a comment the lady laughed and said have a good night. what is going on??
