.Beans, both pinto and black eyed were old looking AND under-cooked! Also they need to stop mixing foods together before they get sued. I said I can't have corn yet you put it in my beans, not once but TWICE. I feel like I gave away money that day. Oh P.S. They do not fill those cups up. What a rip off. (I ordered the veggies plate by the way . WASTE OF MONEY.

Was delicious and the staff was friendly, and the timing to get the food was good. Only downside was the bathrooms needed some cleaning.
Went for a quick lunch and it was also our first time there. I had the chicken fried steak, hubby had the hamburger steak and my daughter had kids chicken fingers and fries. All was cooked well, came out hot and tasted good. The side of Mac and cheese was pretty bland and the coleslaw was a little too tangy for my taste. Overall we left satisfied. I'd eat there again and try the other sides they have to offer.
I love abbays! I eat this every week but today my beef tips looked like cat food and tasted terrible. This should’ve been discarded and not served. I’m a little upset about this abbays Southaven.

OMG this place was amazing.I'd compare the ordering experience to Chipotle. You choose your main/meat from a HUGE amount of choices, then your sides from an equally large list.The prices are reasonable, the portions are adequate (thankfully not a place that overfeeds you - although you can order more if you're extra hungry). The employees seem to enjoy working there, which made the customer service great.Most importantly, the food...well, the food sent me to another plane of existence, where it was just me and my plate, floating among the stars.
This was my first time having Abbay’s. I must say, they have a forever customer here! I ordered the Baked wings with three veggies sides. My sides were double broccoli and rice casserole and green beans. I got the roll and cornbread with my meal along with a medium Hi-C fruit punch to wash it down. It was fresh and delicious. The food is seasoned to perfection. NOT SALTY! But seasoned! The chicken was not dry. I loved it!! Try them out you will not be disappointed ♥️
Ask for the baked chicken wings which is not on the menu. The pork chops, broccoli casserole, mash pot/gravy, black eye peas and yeast rolls were excellent. The cabbage was not so good.
The food was great for the most part but customer service was lacking. My wife stated errors with the order before we were told to move up and wait(which was fine). Then our order was given with no correction, condiments, or anything.
