When they were no longer downtown I thought I had lost my favorite sushi place. I found them again. The beef tataki omg good :)
The food is pretty good. I don't eat sushi but the fried rice, wontons and egg rolls are good. However, I was a little annoyed with my last order when a gratuity was added to my order. This is something I had ordered online and picked up myself (not through Door Dash or any other service). I understand that inflation is affecting everything but, if that's the case, raise your prices so I know what they are upfront, don't add it to the bill unexpectedly.
I've "accidentally" become a ramen "connoisseur." I've lived in multiple major metropolitan cities throughout America...With that being said, I'm from Jackson and this is hands down the best ramen in town by a longshot. This is done right!! Go get some now!

Loved everything and the service was great. My family and I took a nice stroll around the shopping area after lunch. We will definitely come back again.
In a nutshell, my friend liked her sushi and I only wanted to eat about half my noodle dish. Averaging the two experiences, I’ll award it three stars.
This delightful little spit in the Rennaisance shopping area isn't quite as big or fancy as Little Tokyo or even Nagoya, but if you're working or shopping nearby and need some tasty sushi, ramen, or other basic Japanese dishes, this is a good stop for it.Prices are competitive with bigger restaurants, and the quality is typically as high as the bigger places.One thing to note: this place has become a little more popular, and having survived the pandemic, it can get a little bit crowded a times. Especially on Sunday, since this is one of the few sushi places in the Metro area that opens on Sunday. So be warned, getting a table might require a little waiting.But... it is worth a little waiting for a tasty meal, so take a chance on Wasabi.
Me and my husband LOVE wasabi. The food is always top notch. I love their teriyaki chicken and he is crazy about their poke bowls.Can’t go wrong with anything they serve.
Great food and friendly staff. They have some of the freshest sushi around.
