Service was great, food was fast. However I gave it a lower stars rate because they need new waffle irons. It takes them 15 minutes to make 1 waffle and they come out soggy and weird looking because the waffle irons are so bad. I feel bad for the waitresses because it's not there fault. She said shes been asking for new irons for years but waffle house won't do anything about it. Shame on you Waffle House! Your a WAFFLE HOUSE!
Food was amazing. This is always my favorite Waffle House location when I’m visiting. I expect the wait as it is on a Saturday night 5/28/2022. The gentleman at the registered took my order( had on a red cap) and was great in remembering which order belonged to which customer. The amazing part of this restaurant was the cook. Didn’t get his name but he was African American and had a short cut with dreads on top. The cook was by himself and worked great under pressure. He was also very sanitary. As he cooked the food and moved around to do other things, he removed his gloves to do that task and washed his hands before putting on more gloves. I really appreciate a sanitary cook and also complimented him on my way out.
The ONLY reasons why I go to the Waffle House on County Line Road is because it's a walk away,the only place I can get a steak at a reasonable price,and be because my relatives love their food (as do I but I can walk to McDonald's,at least their food is cheaper and quicker for the most part despite their food also being incorrect). The employees are rude,ratchet,and very slow with their orders. I was called Urkel by one of the former workers,they misunderstand what I be ordering even though I've been to that Waffle House since 2018,and just recently on May 13th brought up how rude I was to them on May 8th (due to waiting over 30 minutes to be served),even though I was in a better mood on May 10th and May 13th till one of them brought up the subject. Then today one of them claims she could have me banned from going there again. I don't respond well to threats and she's in no position to talk when she broke one of the mugs there on May 8th. Night time visits are convient as I never had a problem with the workers during that time but overall the Waffle House on County Line Road is a excellent example of good food with high prices can be served by bad people with low professionalism. 'Nuff said!
Whoever this Tuesday morning crew is, the service was GREAT! I don’t like dining out for the simple reason that many people in food service do not like their jobs (for whatever reason) and that carries over to customer service, leaving us with a subpar experience. Well, not with this crew! They all greeted us with a smile and genuinely wanted to know how we were doing. It was full of customers, but our food was still placed in front of us hot from the grill exactly 12 minutes from the time we sat down. We were checked on several times throughout the meal. And the food was good, but then who can really mess up breakfast? This Waffle House is located a neighborhood-like area on County Line, so as people were walking in, the staff was greeting mostly everyone by name. That was so awesome. So to this Tuesday morning crew, I hope your days are truly blessed, and may you ladies continue to create this kind of atmosphere everyday, where people can come and get their day started with a little good will and a smile!!!
The food was delicious but the service was lousy. The guy who took my order was very nonchalant and moved at an extremely slow pace.
After waiting behind another couple for approximately 10 minutes in line, a family with 2 kids came into the restaurant and went straight to the table. Not wanting any confrontation, I objected to the waitress, Pretti. She rudely responded that they have been waiting outside.•WH has no reservation policy•The waiting line is inside the restaurant•The disrespectful family were no where to be seen when we came inIf we were asked, I would have gladly given up our table and sat at the bar.Pretti, you were out of line and RUDE
By far the most disrespectful staff.... racial discriminators.. Customer service is always the number 1 and only priority when working in a restaurant. Yet yelling and cussing because your job was not done as expected is not correct. Customers pay your bills. Customers should be treated as so. This waffle house as the one on Old Canton RD are by far the worse I have ever been in. Yes I speak English.. Just because I'm Mexican does not give you the right to yell and cuss at me saying here we speak English. I will not be coming back. And if I was any of you this place is nasty!!!!!!
Everything was Great! The staff were nice and they work together beautifully, like a choir. It's evident that the staff has a good repore with the customers because they call them by name. The food was seasoned just right. The next time I come to Jackson, I will be stopping by.Arkansas girl
Attempted to call in order because I knew it would take 30-45 min to get food. The automated phone system will not allow ordered to be taken. That is 2022 in a nutshell. 2 locations in the city and the same result. Waffle House do better!!!!!!!
Good food! Great customer service. The dining room was closed. They were serving from a to go window. This is a great idea in lite of covid.
