We were very disappointed in the service we received at Sal and Phil’s today. There were only 3 tables with customers when we got there. Should be great service, right? Waited almost 30 minutes for appetizer. 30 additional minutes later, we see tables that came in after us get their meals quickly. Same thing we ordered. Totally unacceptable. We paid for appetizer and left. Our waitress was very sweet but an hour for a shrimp poboy is beyond ridiculous. We saw at least 4 in the kitchen cooking so they were not short staffed.

I have had Sal and Phil’s crawfish at least 10 times either at the restaurant or at various events around town and every time I am dissatisfied. 1) Too little flavor. The spice is on the weak side anyway so soaking it longer won’t necessarily help. 2) Too many inedible mudbugs. In a 2 lb serving, I usually find that 25% are mushy. I’ll even eat straight tails, but I don’t eat mushy tails. I believe they lost the art and taste when they went for mass production.

The best appetizers and Seafood available , We always want to go back, they have the best Gambino bread, fried squash, and bloody marys you can find inside Ridgeland!!! Thankyou for each day ? you provided this experience its always ❤ memorable and a service that's unbeatable

The crawfish was just right. It was not too spicy like most places and I could actually eat the entire bag. I loved it. Will be visiting again.

My sweetheart and I had dinner there last night (Fri, Apr 8). We ordered the fried crab claws for an appetizer. When they arrived, I noticed a peculiar, slight chemical taste with each bite. Later, she ordered her normal “3 lbs of crawfish and a half ear of corn” while I tried their lump meat crab salad. The waitress brought our entrees to the table and left. (We had to call her back because there was no corn). After eating 4 crawfish my date looked at me and said, “these crawfish are sticky and mooshy - I can’t eat these. Instead she ordered a bowl of gumbo. There was one shrimp in the entire bowl and the roux had obviously been watered down. The crabmeat in my salad wasn’t “lump” but it was shredded knuckle or claw meat with little bits and pieces of shell. Oh, and the parking is a nightmare - plan on parking at Amerigo’s and walking across the street. We won’t be eating there again!

A great place for a quick bite. They have a reasonable crawfish special. Atmosphere is great and relaxing.

Not a Cajun food expert, but I thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the service was great. Had a crawfish po boy and a cup of the gumbo and some crab jalapeños. Everything was delicious.

Called in a pickup order. Great poboys.**Updated 3/27/22**After church lunch with my family. Steady crowd, we found a table immediately and our server was prompt. We tried the seafood nachos appetizer and it was so good. Huge portion of shrimp and crawfish on top. We also went with po-boys, our go too here, but this time I tried the supreme. Roast beef and gravy with ham and swiss cheese. It was very good, again the portions were big and filling. Our server was fantastic and made sure we were well taken care of. Cannot wait to come back and try the red beans and rice.

Enjoyed everything we ordered. Crab claws, redfish, crab cakes, fried shrimp; it was all hot and delicious. All of the food was well seasoned so the kitchen was great. Our server Bailey was amazing too. Ill be back!

My first time visiting. It was AMAZING! The waitress was too kind.
