I will never go back to Penns again!!!. The young man with glasses working the drive through window is the most unprofessional, rude and down right meanest person I've met in some time at a food establishment. His attitude is going to kill business, because I'll make sure my friends and family know not to visit!!!! I wish I could give a negative star. Absolutely pathetic!!!!!

They Didn't Give Me The Drink I Paid For And Now They Won't Even Answer The Phone
While traveling to LA from MS our route took us through Jackson. We decided to get us some fish so we googled places to eat fish in the Brandon, Flowood, Pearl area. Penn's came up. We checked the hours of operation and if they had done in, carry out, and/or pick up and different locations. We headed to the one in Ridgeland. Wow! What did we find? Closed! So we headed to the location on Old Fannin Road. The website said open til 9 but since the other one was closed I decided to call. They answered so I knew they were open. Asked what time they closed and the girl told me 8:30. We drove on to the location. What did we find???? Drive through only! Ugh!! Will never waste our time trying to support this local business again!!
I am truly disappointed with this visit to Penn’s Fish! The fish was good and so was the okra. The fries were terrible! We purchased a family catfish with an extra side, fried okra, $56.46. We order this EVERY time we are home. This is usually MORE than enough for 5 to 6 adults. This time it was barely enough for 3 adult males. Not a satisfied customer!
They havent made millions off of fried - chicken, pickles, & onions on a stick cause they suck. Consistently good food Time After Time. ***Fast Foward 2 years.... Big TIme Edit... I have never seen such a successful chain go down so quickly. Just went through the drive through and ordered an oyster Po-Boys.... 4 oysters each about the size if a large pecan. ...$13.99.. Never again. These pictures were taken right when i got home.
Went to the Lake Harbor Penn's. The onion rings were salty. The fried green tomatoes were not sliced, but cut in chunks. I have never seen fried green tomatoes like that. They were disgusting.
Awful! Food was hard and cold even when I waited forever to get my food call manager to let them know his response was he wasn’t there will never eat at this establishment again. Only gave the one star bc I wanted my comment to post!
I give Penn's on Lake harbour one star, because I Order 3/fish dinner, fish wasn't hot or season to taste, cold slaw was room temperature no taste at all, sweet potatoes fries was cold. Overall nasty. Will not be going g back to Penn's ??
The breading on the fried mushrooms didn't taste right, but other than that it was great.
