The food was good when the store was on Pear Orchard. Now it’s a nicer looking store with bad service and food. Don’t waste your time. If you have to have McAlister’s it will take less time to drive to Madison and the food will be better.
The staff at this McAlister’s Deli are awesome! Super friendly, good at their jobs, and happy to be there. The food was excellent, served quickly and accurately. We ordered 3 different meals, all were exceptional. We also appreciate the gluten free bread option. Highly recommend.
Placed an order worth over $70 and it was absolutely butchered. 1 club sandwich looked as if a blind 3 year old made it (smashed and folded bread crammed inside a tiny box with ingredients scattered) and another sandwich was simply missing.After a 40 minute round trip of traversing county line rd to the restaurant and back and enduring a 10 minute wait in the lone line (no take out line; you wait behind anyone who hasn’t even ordered yet before you can receive your already purchased food), I was at least expecting to provide my body with some subsistence.Alas, I got back to work to do just that but was surprised with this horrendous order. I had no food, someone else had a disgusting slop sandwich and everyone else said theirs tasted awful.This isn’t my first time I’ve had an issue with this company. I’ve reached out to management at the Northside drive location before and of course heard nothing back. I expect the same here. Stay away from this god forsaken establishment.
I’ve been to this location maybe 4 times and the customer service is terrible each time. This will be my last time going back to this location. Today I walked in, a whole group of team members at the front…. Not one greeted me. Cool that’s fine, ordered my food. Never said that I wanted to place a to-go order nor did the lady ask. She asked for my name, me not thinking anything of it I went to sit down and I heard my name being called so I looked up they made my order to-go. Well okay, that’s fine I guess I’ll just take it home and eat. I asked for a cup of honey mustard and the young lady asked would I take brown mustard instead… when I asked do they not have honey mustard she said “well it’s 0.54 cents” I’m like ummm okay no problem I can pay 0.54 cents, with confusion I’m asking myself do I look like I can’t afford 0.54 cents?? Then I get home to eat my food and open the 0.54 cent honey mustard to barely even halfway full!! The what seem to be manager/team lead was yelling at the workers in the back about she was caked up in the parking lot with her man while I was waiting to be greeted or for my order to be taken. Just highly unprofessional and very unknowledgeable staff. And might I also add, this was around 7 pm so it’s not the morning crew.
Hands down the worst McAlister’s I have ever gone to. Every time I order my nacho basket something is wrong. Either I get BEEF chili instead of veggie chili or my extra rotel is missing. I tried calling my order in this time, no one answered the phone. Waited 30 mins for my order, just for it to be wrong. Worker in the back wanted to argue with me over accuracy of my order. The manager was apologetic about it and tried to supplement the worker’s rudeness for a free dessert. I’m not sure if this location is run by high schoolers, but professionalism and urgency is not their specialty. I will be taking my business to the location on northside drive from this point forward. This location is too new to be this awful.

I had a change of heart and upped my stars. This is the season for grace. I just hope corrective action is done to better serve this community._____________________________________________Wow, can't believe I'm writing a bad review about McAlisters. This is probably the WORST location I've ever been to. Management is the direct blame for my situation and no one else. She has been rude and unprofessional. Get a secret shopper to this location ASAP!!
Came in late night on a Saturday and the staff was just as friendly and welcoming as if I were the first customer of the day. Soooo pleasant. From the cashier to the manager. Entire staff just excellent!!! Even had issues with my card, their attitudes did not change. McAlisters always hire good staff. Been a customer for years. March 2022!
Me and my wife waited about an hour for 2 orders of ultimate nachos . They didn't give us our extra condiments and didn't have out food wrapped properly it ended up spilling in the bag . They didn't Apologize nor say they were sorry for the long wait . POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!! This is the McAllister on county line rd Jackson, ms This is the first time we've ever had an experience like this we will not return to this location again
The manager is abrasive and rude and seems to be looking for a reason to say no instead of growing her business, which seems to be struggling based on these reviews.I wanted to call in a catering order and when I proceeded to ask questions, the manager snapped back rudely and told me to provide a CC # and an address for the CC and I would be given a total at a later time. No thanks. I’ll be giving my money to another business.Manager, if you read this, learn to take chances and say absolutely to your customers. You’ll see your revenue and personal pay increase.
