One evening I dined here by chance and was pleasantly surprised. This shiso hasami age which is shrimp, and shiitake stuffed leaves was tempura fried and very delicious. I really loved the presentation as it was served in a mini wooden boat.
Always great quality sushi. Wonderful service. If you want hibachi it’s great here too — but if you want just sushi don’t let the hibachi scare you since there’s a totally separate area for only sushi. Great takeout as well — when they say “it will be ready in 25 minutes” they usually mean it ;)
Service sucked!! The server charged adult prices without notifying us it would be an adult meal when we specifically asked for a kids meal! Children were 4 to 10! Then the manager began to be rude to the entire party and said we still was responsible for the adult prices and kid size portions! Be aware of them not notifying you, no refills, and when we tried to pay our ticket noone wanted to come to the table and check us out. We will not return do to lack of customer service
I was here last week and ordered the Hibachi that they cook in front of you. They sat me alone. I didn’t like that. I’m used to going out to eat alone but with Hibachi spots, they normally wait until it’s like 6-8 people sitting around the stove before the cook comes out. I looked around and noticed they were only sitting the people in large parties together. I didn’t care for this. I was already alone and didn’t need others to see that I was alone and be looking all in my face wondering why I was there alone. Furthermore, my cook made my rice so dag on SALTY that everything else was salty! I couldn’t even eat it. He asked me was everything okay but I just lied because I didn’t think he was going to remake it. I didn’t even get a Togo box because I knew I wasn’t going to eat it. My food was like $28 and it was not worth it so I was very disappointed.
It was a family member’s birthday yesterday. We enjoyed the food and everything, but when we got to the bill they messed up our order. Because it was a male who took our order, but then there was a female who came to confirm our order, but she wasn’t very clear with what she meant. Because the communication was horrible, and when we came to the bill in order for us to get our proper amount on the bill they wasted the food they made by throwing it away instead of letting one of the family members eating it. So I will never come eat there again with my family because the communication is horrible, manager unreasonable, and in total worst serviceI would not recommend eating here because it is unjust and unfair on what they said especially blaming it on us but not fixing the issue or resolving it later.
Most amazing food and service I've had in Mississippi. The waitress came and checked in what felt like any time we may have needed her, filled our water any time she saw it semi empty. Very fast service. Sushi was amazing and hibachi was very entertaining. An amazing visit every time.
Cozy enjoyable environment. Ask for your drinks to be made w Greygoose. They have separate menus for regular dining and hibachi. Be aware if you’re not sitting in hibachi area but that’s what you want. Most of the appetizers were very hot when they came out. Gyoza let down. But the spicy honey sauce was good.It was my friend’s bday and she wanted to eat someplace new. I’ve done ubereats deliveries from here and the place always seems to be busy, and everyone having a good time. A bit pricy but worth it.
I thought the food was very good but everything was a little too salty. I was swollen for days. A little disappointed that the hibachi chefs dont really do any entertaining at all. Back where we are from, the hibachi chefs put on a wonderful show engaging the customers.
Some of the best hibachi rice ever. I have to force myself to not eat all the rice before the other food makes it to the plate! The barbecue salmon roll (sushi) is delicious too. Long live the fiery onion train on the hibachi grill!
Probably one of my favorite places in Jackson!! With a reasonable prices on the lunch menu and fast service, great for takeout or dinning in.
