I've lived further out west, so having spent time everywhere between California and Texas I can truly say the food is good but could be more powerful in it's flavor and taste. Also for the portion size the prices could be considered a little high. But I also will say it's not by any means a bad place to get a meal if you want something that will scratch your itch for this type of food. I actually know a few local Latino people who eat there when they don't go home to eat or cook themselves. To me that says a lot. The ambiance is also decent.

All I can say is it's worth every penny , I really love these it's the Torta Mexico City Cubana

Food had been ready and the person at the register doing everything else but handing me my food because it was the same food she looked at on the counter and walked off. Only after I asked for a refund if my food wasn’t ready did she grab it off the counter. Mind you it was already paid for so all she did was have to hand me the bag and some sauce smh. Not going back. This is the worst and slow service has ever been

Friendly personable staff. Excellent authentic Mexican cooking. Attractively decorated space although seating for less than 20. Loved my steak tacos.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. The owner is amazing. She has a heart to make the amazing food. OMG and the steak and chicken nachos rivaled one that I've had in Times Square. One of the best things I've ever aint. Gave me life ?

I wasn't impressed. I had a veggie chimachanga and queso. I appreciated that the chimachanga was fresh but it was more Bread than Veggies and o. The small side. I didn't like that my dip was Luke warm.

TIP: Ask for more traditional food.We moved here from the LA area, so my tastebuds are used to Southern California spices and flavors. Flavors here are toned down and food is pricy for what you get. The birria tacos are good but consume isn’t as flavorful, the burrito is big, rice is good but small portion. Having read the owners response to another person from LA, next time I know to ask for the abuela especial for more traditional food. Will be coming here again to try more things.

These chips was so hard I almost broke a tooth. You need two tortillas shells on street tacos. The server was nice

The food was not good at all, highly disappointed. Way too much garlic and it was definitely bland. The chicken over cooked and dry, and the ground beef tasted funny. The burrito that I had,, had way too much garlic, and it didn't have seasoning at all. The chips was over fried, and the salsa was watery, with no seasoning. This restaurant in Ridgeland don't eat at it you will definitely be wasting your time and money. If I could give them zero star I definitely will but I had to give at least one star in order to post.

Them chips almost broke my ???.The services was fine.
