When we arrived at Crab Seafood Shack, the restaurant was very hot and humid. We couldn't sit outside because there was a storm approaching. The server offered to let us keep the menus so we could fan ourselves and apologized for the temperature. She was a very good server and definitely efficient.I ordered the grouper entree with broccoli and a house salad. My husband ordered the blackened chicken pasta and house salad. He could not eat the chicken at all. He said it was the worst chicken he's ever tasted but the pasta was edible. My grouper was okay. Most of the broccoli was delicious but there were some parts that looked dried out that I had to cut off. The salad was great! Would we go back? Probably not.

Service was AWFUL, took an hour to get my food and the waitress was cluelessThe salads (15$ for a glorified plate of lettuce) and platters (20$ for a plate that looked like a Popeye's box dumped onto a plate) are wildly overpriced. The saving grace is that the Blackened Chicken and Grouper was well seasoned and tasted good

We ordered the snow crab buckets and one with shrimp. There was absolutely no seasoning and I asked for spicy, still no seasoning. Someone in my party ordered the fried catfish and it was good. But the seafood buckets are a no go. Waste of money, we decided to try it since it was in a new location but we could have gone to Juicy Crab instead.

Food was good and service fair. They were extremely busy and it was loud. Really enjoyed the view and the food. Nice outdoor seating area.

I was very disappointed in my meal. I ordered seafood gumbo and cheesy bread. The gumbo had good flavor but the rice in it wasn’t cooked nearly enough making it hard and crunchy. I was unable to eat it. The cheesy bread did not have nearly enough cheese. I told the waitress who just said she hated that. Never offered to bring anything else and still charged us for the gumbo even though it was inedible. The grouper in my friends seafood platter had no seasoning. I will not be going back.

The server brought my gumbo to the table with her thumb sticking in it and the spoon submerged in the gumbo and asked if I needed anything else. No bread offer or came with it. The shrimp poboy had very small shrimp. The only thing good on it was the bread, the shrimp tasted like cocktail shrimp. I wouldn’t recommend this location for seafood or good timely service.

Awesome food and awesome service

the BEST staff. Drinks and food are good. Grouper is so good and crab dip is amazing.

This is THE BEST crab leg place in the area! Delicious and falls out the shell, and the crab dip is next level amazing, this place is a going out to eat staple for me, and the new building by the rez is spacious and pretty, I was scared the food would be different after moving from Old Canton road to the new building, but it just adds to the already delicious food! The crab legs are better than most places in the coast even! Love this place!!
