This place is a Mississippi staple. You're warmly greeted when you enter and the place if full of smiles. The servers are polite and attentive as well. I am so full that I can barely type. We ordered fish and chicken and a pot of greens. The meals automatically come with pickled onions, coleslaw, fries and hush puppies. They bring out the sides first then the food and if you don't' control yourself, you'll be full rather quickly. You also can't go wrong with the sweet tea. I am a repeat, always satisfied customer. The view of the reservoir---you can't beat either.

Great service. I have been twice and both times had my order on the table in less than 5 minutes. My only complaint is the catfish is slightly under seasoned but the frying and cornmeal batter are great. The cornbread and coleslaw are on point too!

My husband and I went to eat there, after finally receiving our drinks and appetizers the waitress brought our fish out. She then took my husbands dirty plate from his appetizer, moved by clean plate to the side and placed his dirty plate in front of me and left it there. She was rude and complained the entire time we were there about various things (she was tired, she was hot, they were busy, etc...). Our fries were soggy and cold, the fish was good but not worth the rudeness. Will not be returning.

They only have two entrees which are chicken and catfish. I had the catfish. It was seasoned well enough for me and not fried ridiculously hard. The skillet cornbread was BOMB!!!! I tried the pickled onions and they were different but not in a bad way. The service was great. I wish I could remember his name. I will definitely dine here again when I visit Jackson again.

Best catfish and Cole slaw in town. Always go for family events. Has a bar so you can drink a picture while you wait to be seated. Beautiful view of the res. Save some scraps for the geese.

This was a great visit to a new place. My wife and I enjoyed the meal and the service. The catfish was cooked just right and the hush puppies and turnip greens were perfect. My wife really liked the grilled chicken. She said it was the best she has had in a long while. We had a Canadian goose watch us while we ate and the water on the reservoir was beautiful. Probably the best thing of all was the Christian music playing in the restaurant. We are on vacation and missed our church so the music was very pleasurable to listen to as we ate. If you are ever in the Madison area you should definitely check this place out. It will be worth your time.

Great food. Sat near the window @sunset. Annalise our waitstaff was great! Things were busy for her, but she handled it calmly and with a smile. Will come back!

I'm absolutely addicted. It was love at first bite ?. I will be going here EVERY time I am near Ridgeland MS. Please support this business to keep them open

Fish was too thick and not completely done in the middle. What they call tarter sauce is actually remoulade cut 50/50 with dill pickle juice, they claim to have pickled onions but it’s just raw onion slices. The wait staff seemed to be kids that were kicked out of the house and made to take a job they didn’t want. The Cole slaw was okay, not good or great but the best thing they served. If you want decent catfish you will need to drive to Grenada, or the coast. I’ve always wanted to try this place and now I can mark this off my list.

“Great food, excellent staff, and amazing location.” *****
