Our group of 20 people were in town from West Monroe, LA for a BMX race. We originally told the manager 16 but added 4 more. They were able to seat us pretty quickly considering it was rush hour for dinner. Our waiter was great and very thorough with taking our orders. We had 7 separate checks and every one of them were correct. Food wise, we will always come back here (this was my family’s second time). My husband and I ordered the fajitas for two that came with chicken, beef, chorizo, and shrimp. There was so much food that we took home enough for dinner the next night. We had tons of margaritas and everyone commented how good the food, drinks and service was. We will definitely be back when we are in town again!
Cazadores is an icon of Ridgeland, Mississippi. Go to Cazadores if you want authentic Mexican food served quickly and efficiently by experienced staff at a great price.It is unfortunate that they add fees if you use a credit card (May, 2022), but with the economy the way it is and with credit card processors hiking fees, it's understandable. You can get a 3.5% "discount" if you pay with cash. It wasn't enough of a problem to take away any points from the experience, so I rate Caz a solid 5 stars.
My first time here, it was very very crowded ,parking was limited but the wait was not long I was seated immediately. I ordered the Happy Plate with steak,shrimp and chicken but I forgot to get a pic!??♀️ It was very tasty ?. The drink I ordered was a Mango Margarita! It was tasty too!! I will definitely be back.
Food was very good. Service was all messed up. We all got our food at different times we got other people's orders and other people got ours. Hopefully they work that bug out and get a liquor license.
One of our favorite local restaurants. Great food for dine in or takeout. I’ve not had anything from the menu that I didn’t like. The wait staff is always very courteous & works hard to be sure we have everything we need.
If you go, ask for them to seat you on the stage in the middle of the dining room. The food always tastes better up there. It has to do with the altitude I’m pretty sure.
When I say I grew up in Ridgeland and never have I ever been treated so bad ! It was horrible I’ve come multiple times ! And had decent service so I come for a drink cool decided to place a order I was informed I had to pay for lettuce etc I have never in my life paid for lettuce there with a meal so it changed orders and the guys makes it clear what I wants comes with meal ? 5 mins later her brings out my food in a to go box ???? Like I never said I wanted to go then he brings the food out and it was a plain fajita no cheese no lettuce no anything ! So we exchanged words I pay for a meal and left a tip I didn’t eat it at all then one guy says oh you must be from Jackson like really cause I’m black I’m from jackson ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE FOR A BLACK WOMAN ! For it to come from people who may not even be legal so sad
great food and amazing friendly staff, they were busy and still had our food our to us quickly. i would definitely recommend this place.
This place is always packed during lunch and dinner hours for a reason. The service is great and fast, the food is good, and the quality is consistent. Cazadores has been my family's go-to Mexican restaurant for over five years now. They also offer the fastest to-go order prep of any restaurant in the Jackson metro area. Just call and place your order. If you call and it won't go through (your phone displays "User Busy" or similar message), just keep trying until you get through. This place is so popular on Friday and Saturday nights that you might have to try calling three or four times in a row to get through.
Usually the food is good but last night it was well below mediocre. The food was pretty bland which made me sad bc it's usually good and I took my parents thinking that they would enjoy it. Needless to say, they won't go back due to the lack of flavor and attentive staff.
