From the time we sat down we had a very attentive staff that was very helpful in suggesting appetizer and entree selections. They have a great bar selection, which helped us get our dinner started. My main corse the redfish was outstanding , what a great meal. Overall outstanding experience.
Food and service were as expected from an Emerson restaurant….on point! The pimento cheese toast….AMAZING! However ….and I’ll preface by saying the dessert prep may have been having an off night, but the bread pudding….one of the worst I’ve ever had. Surprising . It was cold, dense, not really a bread pudding at all. I would recommend this restaurant, absolutely….just not the bread pudding. BUT…. If you want the best bread pudding you’ve ever tasted… Go to Koestler prime, it’s got to be the best bread pudding in the country. Bar none… better than their steaks, and the steaks are really good!
The service was amazing, water never empty. The wine list was really quite nicely put together from around the world, even nice half bottle selection. Great oyster selection, from up and down the east coast. The hot catfish easily stole the show, made to perfection. The scallops cooked with a nice sear and really well put together sauce! Go out of your way to eat here!

Date night and we were not disappointed! Great drinks, excellent bourbon and wine choices. Martini was on point! I had the NY strip and it was thick and perfectly cooked. My wife had Redfish Anna and it was terrific as well. Our server Ramona was awesome - great personality! We’ll be back again soon!!

We had takeout from Caet. I had the shrimp and grits. It was a spicy surprise with much less heaviness than most versions I’ve had. My wife had the gumbo and also enjoyed it. While it was takeout, I am certain the atmosphere and presentation would be memorable.
