I had a very rude experience with the workers. They disrespected my good friend and made her upset enough to leave.
Best restaurant in Oxford! The food is amazing and the menu is always changing. We love the staff, especially the bartenders! We love chatting with them and they make excellent cocktails!

I don't think the party we were with reviewed this restaurant before selecting it as the place we would dine that night. We were a traveling soccer team visiting for a tournament and this restaurant appeared like a "fancy" eatery more than a place for a bunch of sporting parents and kids.That being said, the staff was very understanding and helpful even though we had a large and loud party. The staff was absolutely excellent. The party all said the food was good too.Overall not a bad spot but just remember it's not what I would call a casual joint.
The chef, Vish, is indian. He's already won the James beard award. He's a super duper talented cook. If there's anything on the menu that's indian or lamb themed, get it. He's good at everything, but like, they're not indian food really, they're sort of like americanized indian food and it's always awesome. I've been going there for 10 years now, and they always have the best bartenders too. So do yourself a favor and go eat at snack bar. Also their oysters are always like perfect. They took the duck croque off the menu, but I don't know if they would make it for you or not, but it's incredible. The steak freets is always really good, but if you normally order medium rare, order medium. They're not under cooking it necessarily they just have a different definition of medium rare I guess. It comes out a little bloody if you don't like blood in your meat.
Such fun decorations for Christmas! They rotate menus often which keeps it exciting. Always unique and delicious drinks. The wait staff is wonderful. One of my very favorite restaurants in Oxford for any occasion!
The food here is fantastic, so far has never disappointed. The service meets the quality of food with quality of attention and knowledge of the menu and choices to make. Love this place, highly recommend.
