Being from the east coast we were determined not to dine on Italian food while visiting the south. But when the hip Saint Leo was mentioned on our visit to the Oxford tourist information center we decided to give it a try. Wow! So glad we did. This is a top notch Italian eatery. From the grilled bread appetizer to the cappuccino. The pizza and salad were fabulous too. The service and entire staff could not have been more accommodating. Definitely a must dine spot if you are visiting Oxford.

We celebrated our two sons at the end of June with our first dining experience at St Leo. Greeted by winsome Kirby, one of the managers, we were warmly welcomed. She was attentive but not obtrusive all evening. Delightful. And our server, Baylor, was also exceptional. He was knowledgable about the food, seasonings, and preparation; he served with such panache. Again delightful. Now to the FOOD. Glorious food. From appetizers to the finale, the meal was perfection. All delicious. We were served complimentary desserts which were outstanding. I should have made photos. We felt celebrated and special. Thank you, St Leo. We cannot wait to return. As our French friend is known to exclaim at the end of a fine meal, "MAGNIFIQUE!"

My husband and I enjoyed some drinks and a delicious pepperoni pizza during Happy Hour! Service was very personable and helpful! The music that was playing was great!

Really busy on a Thursday night. Being a solo traveler and not interested in the loud & crowded bar scene, I opted for a takeout pizza. Wait time was about 20 minutes, so I used that time to wander around the nearby Square. Friendly service at the door. Pizza was ready promptly and boxed to go. I got the Bacon Jam and Calabrian Chili Honey pie - absolutely delicious toppings and doughy wood-fired crust. Still hot by the time I returned to my nearby hotel and *great* as heated up leftovers the next day! Why “only” a 4 of 5? Atmosphere: dark and kinda “clubby” in the evening —- personally not my scene/taste. Also, at $19 that admittedly delicious pizza was merely 4 slices, a good meal for one person —- but rather expensive for what it is. Nonetheless, very good experience and obviously very popular.

This was a spot my co-workers and I tried while at Ole Miss for work. The world famous Oxford, MS Square has a lot of great places to get good ole southern food. This place is Italian with a southern flavor. Everything we ordered was so fresh, well-seasoned and delicious. We tore into everything so quick, I didn't even have time to take photos. We shared the Chopped Salad, and a couple of pizzas and all were delicious. Take my advice and give this one a shot the next time you are in Oxford, MS.

We had an excellent dinner at Saint Leo. Ate at the bar due to no tables available but service was excellent. Bar staff and friendly and efficient. We had the squid ink pasta and several pizzas. All delicious. Nice wine and cocktail selection. An awesome dining spot in Oxford.

We called for reservations and was told at the time we wanted that it was not necessary. We arrived at 6:30 snd was told it would be a 45 minute wait. At 45 minutes, we were told it would still be some time before we would be seated. With that type of customer service we went elsewhere. Attitude and customer service skills need improvement. Will not return.

We don't make it to Oxford as often as we might like, but when we do, Saint Leo is a must-visit. The staff is stellar--so kind, just above-and-beyond accomodating, friendly but also quick and professional. They give a great experience. It's obvious from their attitudes and the fact that the place runs like a well-oiled machine that this is a restaurant that takes good care of their people. You love to see it. And the food! On this visit, we had the tomatoes and burrata and arancini to start; margarita, potato and speck, and prosciutto pizzas; and the stuffed quail. Everything was spectacular. The seasonal cocktails are always delightful, and the bartenders look like they're having a great time. The desserts were unreal (we had the vanilla and chocolate ice creams, raspberry sorbet, peach and blueberry crostata, and a chocolate pot du creme that made me want to cry). If there is a complaint to be made, it's that it is very loud in there. The upcoming renovations to add soundproofing should take care of that, though, and my fellow parents of small kids will agree that a bit of atmospheric noise is not always a bad thing, since it can cover our din. We look forward to coming back as soon as possible!

While attending my daughters orientation at Ole Miss, we decided to try Saint Leo. Coming in from out of town (Northeast) we were skeptical to try “ITALIAN” in Mississippi. Well I can tell you that it was amazing. Our server was fantastic and made great suggestions for drinks and food. We started with the crab toast, grilled clams and cauliflower steak appetizers. They were great and I am still thinking about the crab toast. My daughter got a pizza which was done perfectly and my wife got the gnocchi ( she also loved it). I got the half roasted chicken and I cleaned my plate…. I can not say enough good things about this place. I highly recommended and can’t wait to come back.

3 couples with reservation for 1130 brunch. Our server Kristi C. was wondering but not overbearing. Hardest part was picking what to have. In total the group tried margarita pizza, spaghetti carbonara, Dutch baby and a polenta bowl. It was all tasty but a tad pricey. Downside was restuarant has hard acoustics and conversation was harder than it might have been elsewhere. All in all 4.5
