Rockhouse is by far one of my favorite bars. Definitely my favorite bar in oxford. Staff are friendly and attentive. And I love the atmosphere!

4/8/22 We went in for the first time to try lunch and when we sat down we immediately noticed the table was sticky and dirty. With the light glare we could tell the table hadn’t been wiped down. We moved to another table and noticed it was the same. I walked around trying to find a cleaner table but didn’t see one. We picked the best one we could find without being too hard on them. Waiter brought us the menus and there was food stuck all over it - looked like dried tomato soup. Sorry, but if the patron area is that dirty you won’t want to see the kitchen, much less put the product in your mouth. Another red flag was there were no other patrons during peak hour. Needless to say but we left.
After 30 minutes of trying to flag down someone to wait on us, we gave up. The outdoor seating was nice on an extra beautiful baseball Saturday, but we should have been tipped off by the 45 minute wait next door and only 3 tables with patrons at Rockhouse. We eventually left (never acknowledged) but did return for a to-go order from the bar of key lime pie and cheesecake after we ate at another restaurant. Both desserts were good, but not spectacular.
Sadly I do not recommend this place . I went after they first opened and would have said yes but went tonight and no . We had 2 tables and only one had ketchup and only a small amount , looked on 3 tables before finding some . No napkins and asked for some but never got . The food was mediocre and took about 35 minutes for first food to come out then another 10 minutes for last plate . The game with guitars is so loud it drowns out everything else in the room . Went to bathroom and it was dirty , toilets was dusty and don’t look like been cleaned in weeks . Not worth the $$$ I spent , very unhappy and will not go back .
This place is awful. There’s a reason why it’s always empty during peak hours the vibes in here are just off. Food is mediocre at best but priced not accordingly. This type of establishment does not belong on the beautiful oxford square. They advertise having the best burger in town which is just insulting to every other burger in town. Their menu says “Zach’s famous” this and that, I don’t know who Zach is but he sounds like a massive egotistical ignorant out of town business owner who does not deserve the business of this great culinary town.

One of the new restaurants in Oxford. Located in the old Soul Shine Pizza location. Spacious. Wide ranging chain menu. College town oriented. Palatable food. Somewhat pricey. Friendly staff.
A must eat place in Oxford! The food is delicious! If you haven’t eaten here you are missing out! The drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is a great addition to the Oxford Square! I get the fat cat mule and the bbq nachos which is my favorite! However, I have tried many other items on the menu and loved it all! Highly recommend!!
