I had the Newk's club, the others that are with me had the chicken salad sandwich, the Turkey & swiss w/ 5 cheese macaroni, the ham & swiss, & the sausage & pepperoni pizza. All the food was great, except the bread was too hard on the chicken salad sandwich. The service was great, we were met with a warm & happy greeting, as we walked in. I think the atmosphere was a little dim because we got there an hour before closing, but it didn't effect the service at all, the staff was great. The restaurant was clean abs presentable as well, it was a pleasant experience. They have newly designed cups for July 4th now too! I love their cups! ? Highly recommended!
Ok not bad. Wasn’t impressed with chicken salad. Tasted more like grocery store brand. Good tea and salad

Ordered the shrimp pizza on many different occasions the last two times they left off half of the toppings. I didn’t say anything the first time, the second time I called and let the manager know and she said a refund would be issued… they never issued a refund.Update: Newk’s issued a refund. However, I visited again and got the shrimp pizza… half the toppings still missing. I’m convinced no one there has read what the toppings on the menu state.

I usually love all of my Newks experiences, but not tonight. I was so excited to enjoy a bowl of soup for my Sunday dinner, and after looking at their “updated” hours, they claimed to be open until 8:30. Well, we got there at 7:30, the door was unlocked, and when we walked in they shouted at us that they were “closed”. Not happy with Newks on University.

Not one to post reviews but this is the 3rd time this has happened when ordering Newks. $14 for Chicken Caesar salad with croutons and a drink only to receive salad and dressing. These last few months Newks has really be disappointing.
