UPDATE: Used to be 5 stars. Unfortunately, it has significantly and continuously gone downhill since the “re-opening” earlier this year. They have made sad and degrading changes to their ingredients. Particularly, the tea and coffee used as a base for their boba drinks is now much weaker. The food does seem to be improved, but the prices are outrageous for the taste and the quality. The atmosphere is completely changed (and not for the better). They made the utterly baffling decision to change out the lovely natural and custom lighting for standard white fluorescent office lights. The new lighting makes it miserable to sit in there now.The staff is completely new and seems poorly trained. They often are confused about how to ring up menu options or need to remake drinks a second time after bringing them out.And the final straw that lost my love for Mi & Tea was today: they NO LONGER accept punch cards. For years I have come in and gotten a little stamp on my card. Every ten or so stamps was a free drink. I was informed by the cashier that they stopped doing that this week (it’s Monday). There was no notice. No sign. No post. Nothing. Not that I’m owed anything, but the disregard (or disrespect) for loyal customers is distasteful and off-putting. If you’re going to end the program, maybe at least honor my existing / last card?Anyway, I probably sound old and crabby for disliking change… BUT I LOVED Mi & Tea before it re-opened this year. Now I think I’ll mostly drive by it sadly, longingly wishing it had never changed from the perfection it used to be.
I’ve tried a few of there drinks and they are awesome!!!
I am SO GLAD to have boba and milk teas in Oxford. Mí and Tea has me addicted. Sadly, the quality has been going down a bit. They are often out if honey boba, even hours before closing. Crystal boba is not what I drive over for to pay $6-7 for. If I can get boba pearls online, I’m not sure what the issue is. It would also be great to have several sizes, like most boba shops have. Anyway — I’m glad we have a boba place; overall the drinks are good.
Amazing authentic and original style drinks! My favorites are the smoothies and coffees even though they are mainly a boba tea shop, the coffee and smoothies are to die for. Atmosphere is perfect for bringing your laptop and doing school work with the great cafe vibes and people. Absolutely hate the parking lot intersection location but in saying that, it is so worth getting in and out of oxford traffic for one of their drinks. Best place to get a nice tea, smoothie or boba drink in oxford hands down.
I have been going here for a while for an original thai milk tea and it is always the exact same and very good. Today I went back for the “reopening” and my thai tea was brewed extremely weak and it was way too sweet (I ordered 25%). So it basically tasted like a cup of syrupy heavy cream. Not good. Wish they could make them like they used to.
Very friendly staff and very informative. Great food! Definitely will be back!
Very good tea. Nice employees.
Great food and quick service. I got the vietnamese coffee and traditional banh mi sandwich.
Visited here. I got a passion fruit pineapple mojito. It was very good! I also got a side of cheese fries. I was a little scared at first because some of my fries were a little burnt. The cheese on the fries was powdered cheese. Once I kept eating it, it got better. I spent $14 on all of this. Cool cups. The inside is very nice!
Love the atmosphere. It’s my favorite place to go with my friends after class and the drinks are always amazing. 10/10
