Refreshing meal on a hot day. The food was fresh and delicious. The drinks were nice and cold. Great meal!
I know one star is harsh especially when the food is good. BUT I ordered online just 2 sandwiches. Showed up at 7:16 pm when it was supposed to be ready and no one helped us for 5 min and then we sat there waiting for 30 min in the drive thru just for them to come out to tell us to get at the back of the line because apparently they didn’t have everything they needed to make our sandwiches. I understand that. But I do not understand making us wait and hold up the line for 30 minutes with no information. Do better
Not like the McAlisters of a few years ago, mostly survives on underage and young workers whom are poorly trained. I've seen them blatantly break MS child labor laws, and ignored customers calling for service. Lost my order more than once when using the app. I haven't decided if I'll go back, exploring more places in Oxford (and would suggest anyone reading this to do the same). Finally visited Jim Johns (after being in the area for 4 years) and they have a smaller but nicer place (about the mid point of Subway and Firehouse, fresh and tasty). Really hate this as the McAlister's in Germantown, TN was my offices group Tuesday lunch dive before Covid, and I was just wanting to relive fond memories.
Always enjoy the food here. Pick anything it’s all good good. Great friendly service
Great service, great people, and great food!! Check it out for yourself!
There was a dirty mop bucket left out in the lobby area. The smell was awful, I did not even smell like a restaurant. The workers were standing around the whole time we were there. The workers also did not know the menu. The workers were also CONSTANTLY touching their hair and then touching food……. and to top it all off, it has taken over 20 mins to get a sandwich (chicken salad, which is premade) and soup (which is also prepare).
Ever since they moved to this new location the carry out orders seems to be consistently wrong.
Got the chicken salad sandwich and was disappointed. Not enough chicken salad on it. I used to work at McAlister so I know they throw alot of it away all the time. Why not just make a good sandwich maybe there would be less wast.
I ordered a large ice tea, but when I got to the pickup window, they handed me a kid's cup and shut the window. I got their attention and politely told them I ordered a large, but they told me they were out of cups (and somehow thought a 12oz kids cup was a replacement for a 32 oz cup). I told them it was too small, and the girl at the window offered me two cups, which is still too small, but I agreed. Then the manager came and said they couldn't give me two cups because the kids cups were 1.79 each and I only paid 2.49 for the large. Then she said "I'll take the charge off", and I thought she'd just refund the money, but instead she charged me 1.79 for the kids cup (which is a rip-off given it's size). In the end I had to give the kids cup back so that they would agree to give me the 1.79 back. This is so ridiculously cheap. That tea costs like 5 cents a cup, and you already inconvenienced me by not having what I ordered when I arrived. Why not give me two kids cups for $2.49? Or give me the one kids cup for free? And what's worse is they acted like *I* was the one being difficult. Seriously, who is going to pay $2.49 for a 12 oz cup of tea with no refills? At the very least have the refund finished when I got there.
Great food. Good price. As with everywhere they seem to have had turnover so give them a lit extra time.
