My family and I have been eating here since at least 2000! Family owned establishment with great BBQ, awesome potato salad, & friendly atmosphere. Just a good, simple place to grab dinner or to go. I highly recommend the BBQ plate! You get BBQ plus two sides and there's always plenty left over for later. Their prices are cheaper than a lot of places that aren't as good. Expect to spend $8.00-$12.00 per person, depending on what you get, could be less. Very fast service! They are usually quite busy at noon. Highly Recommend trying here for authentic Mississippi BBQ!

This place is hands down the best for cheeseburgers. I have moved out of oxford now and i still miss it soooo much!! ??
The place looked dirty and the table configuration was not set up well inside. Plus you had to stand in line to order your food but where the line started and ended was unclear. Looked like a bunch of teenage kids were the cooks. I know this is a local place and it survives because of the locals but as an outsider I assure you it wouldn't survive competing outside the Oxford market.
Love Handy Andy's! The last is so nice in there! The food is great!! Don't care for the sauce with the black pieces in it because it cuts my gums. Everything is always fresh! I always get mine to go because everyone turns and stares when you walk in and makes me a little uncomfortable. Hate that they are open a little later on Saturdays cause I always miss them. You won't find better bbq in Oxford! ❤️
If you want an old fashioned burger, this is the place! It was scrumptious! I've lived here for 5 years and never tried this place. I've been missing out!
A rare and original no frills or gimmicks ma and pop diner. Service was great and fast, food was delicious and filling. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. Prices are fantastic and you definitely get your money's worth. I had the cheeseburger plate, baked beans and potato salad and I'm so full I need a nap.
We went for lunch and the place was very crowded and very hot inside. Because no one was wearing a mask, we opted for takeout and ate at a nearby park, which was infinitely nicer than the sweltering restaurant. We ordered the burgers based on Trip Advisor reviews, and they are very good. We also got tater tots, which weren’t as crispy as I usually like. Handy Andy’s is well worth a stop for a fast, cheap lunch.
We love Handy Andy's barbecue! After all, they have been awarded BEST BARBEQUE IN OXFORD for so many years in a row, they definitely know what they're doing in preparing it. They keep making it, and we'll keep eating it!❤
