Good interior and food, less intimate than other Mexican restaurants but very good nonetheless
I went to El Agave with my family for a nice Saturday lunch. It was a very enjoyable meal, not too busy, but, busy enough for us to still get our meal in a reasonable amount of time. Our waiter was very nice and attended to all our needs and answered my questions about what was hot or not. I, certainly will go back.
When we were seated we were given menu's which was good because our waitress apparently didn't realize she had been assigned our table and we waited a good 10 to 20 minutes to even turn in our order. Of course the gal could have been new, but maybe someone should have let her know. The rice bowl I ordered was superb and I never heard any other complaints from my family.
Wow! Amazing Mexican food, from the guacamole to start, Cantarita cocktail and Mocajete, everything was delicious.
Everything was great. We had about 20 people in our party. Unfortunately I found a hair in my food. I told the waiter and all he did is ask if I was OK. Well, I'm not going to die but it gross and I only ate half my food. My first time here was not stellar! Everyone was nice and the drinks were good.

First time at El Agave and man they didn't disappoint. I had the Festive fajita and it was great. The atmosphere was wonderful, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals.
Very very good restaurant. My favorite is the top shelf burrito; the staff here are nice, do not discriminate, and the food quality is extremely consistent. Price is great as well and it's definitely within my top 5 list of places to eat in Oxford.
Again and again, this place does not disappoint. The food is delicious and in large portions. The food is also priced reasonably well and they are incredibly fast with pick-up or dining in. They are very popular and can have a lot of people so you might have to wait during the weekends, but you will certainly not disappointed. The best Mexican restaurant in Oxford in our family's opinion.
Great food and great service every single time! Always speedy and always accurate! If you love mexican you will love El Agave!
