Unfortunately, Checkers slogan "crazy good food" does not apply to this location. The fries are always soggy and the food tastes like the cooking oil hasn't been changed in months. The manager has quite possibly the worst attitude of anyone I've ever encountered and to top it all off they do not take tradition forms of payment such as American Express.
My first visit to this Checkers. I’ve seen many restaurants come and go in Oxford in my last 30+ years here. If your night crews attitude doesn’t change it won’t last long. We were the only customers in the business, we seem to be an inconvenience to the staff. No greetings, no smiles, no thank you and no please visit again. Oxfordians are picky where we spend our money. The good points were the food was good. Questionable whether are not I will visit again.
Pick up orders were 25 minutes behind. When customers arrived at the window the lady didn’t even open up the window or acknowledge customers for 5 minutes sometimes. Seemed to be only one person preparing orders at a peak hour.
I had chicken nuggets and fries and Mike had some type of monster chicken sandwich. We both had a fried apple pie. Everything was fresh...hot and delicious.
Bad attitudes fries were ok chicken TERRIBLE won't ever eat here again ewwwww!!!!!!! Also the coke was trash
My order was wrong and the chicken tastes like warming walmart great value nuggets up in the microwave instead of the oven. Nearly the worst fast food in Oxford, second only to the pitiful Wendy’s across the street from it. There is almost nothing worse than this food
The staff is always super sweet! But so are their fries... I love checkers I just wish the one in Oxford’s fries didn't taste like the funnel cake fries:/
Food is good.. Service is hit or miss. Some visits, its all good... Others, they can't seem to be bothered to get anything correct.
Employee was very polite & curtious. My food is hot & good. Fries are awesome!!
