Seriously this place should be a food show destination for it's Shrinp & Grits alone. Absolutely superb.
Comfortable, casual but with better than typical college town food. Service was great even though they were busy. Got jambalaya pasta, and shrimp and grits - both were made with the exact same sauce but it was super flavorful, a bit spicy, and nice herbal touches. Beer selection is solid with bottled regional brews. Did portions were great - not stupidly huge, but generous. A couple of dessert options, we had cobbler which was very tasty, but served with generic vanilla ice cream.
Dined here recently while visiting Oxford. Menu has something for everyone. Salads, southern dishes, etc. Had a great cheese/sausage plate and the chicken sandwich. Good stuff. Staff is all friendly. waited at the bar until a table opened. only ding was they quoted 30 minutes and we were at a solid hour before seated. was an unusually busy weekend though. will definitly return for dinner!!!!
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner. We shared the crab cakes entree and a large house salad. Everything was delicious! Service was great!
We ordered quite a few things off of the menu and it was all really good! Service was a little slow - I'm sure they are experiencing staffing issues like most other restaurants/businesses. On the square - perfect location! We will definitely return.
Came in for dinner ordered wine but waitress never came back after 25 minutes. Eventually we just put money on the table and wandered out. Weird it was a midweek night so place was not very busy. Wine list kinda sketchy. Otherwise it has a nice atmosphere. Really wanted to try the food. Hesitant to return.
Outstanding service and food was amazing. Will definitely eat there again when we are in Oxford.
Here On Business From Atlanta....Great Place, Didn't Wait long for A Table, Excellent Service, Server Was Pretty, Nice, Knew Her Stuff, Food Was Excellent, I'll Be Back Next Trip!
our server, Drake was excellent and the quality of food was amazing. the spinach artichoke dip with pita bread was great and so was my chicken carbonara. my boyfriend got the crab cakes and coleslaw with sweet potato fries and he loved his meal as well! the only thing that threw me off about the experience was being seated at a table in the middle with booths on both sides. there were other booths available on this less than busy Tuesday night, and we were the only couple sitting in the middle. it kind of felt awkward but it wasn’t a big deal.
First time eating here. Great food and great service. Our server was great, and food came out quickly. We'll certainly be back.
