Place was clean but forced to take out. Staff was very friendly we ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches tried to get brisket but had none or ribs . Took back to truck at flying j and eat and was very disappointed got bigger sandwiches but weren't big at all. Flavor was none coleslaw was ok . I eat BBQ alot and my 10 year old said circle k BBQ was better and I have to agree
First they were very low stocked. They had no brisket or kool-aid which is what we came for so we tried something else. The pulled pork had a lot of fat but wasn't a disaster. The beans and potato salad were ok. The service was ok. The cleanliness of the restaurant was DISGUSTING. Every table was dirty and there were dead bugs on EVERY windowsill and some on the tables. Made me not want to finish the food because it made me wonder what the kitchen looked like where the food was cooked. Won't be back
What I order was not was I was expecting. First time customer.Food is good but nothing signature about the flavor.The staff kept my review at 3 instead of 1. My buying experience was GREAT. Super friendly and all had a smile.
We had dinner here one night and the food was very good. We both had brisket sandwiches that were done just right.
not at every tops but specifically at this olive branch location. these sorry Pizza unclean filthy trash fed me something that gave me food poisoning. please people if you value your health don't stop here.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the 3 meat combo with two sides which unfortunately was not very good at all. The meat especially the ribs and sliced brisket was very dry and could pass for Beef jerky. The beans were good but cold and the Potato salad was delicious. Not sure if I caught them on a off night but I am never returning.
Ok we are still in a pandemic right? Server's should wear a mask. Okay, now my first time there I wanted to try a few bones but 8 knew I really wanted a few slabs for the road being that I'm a truck driver and was tired of truck stop chicken. So I walked over and paid for a plate, then asked for two slab of ribs and paid way to much in my opinion. I saw 3 different prices for a slab of ribs and did not care for the coughing old woman at the register. The meat wasn't bad, I've definitely had worse but that's if you like fat, greasy, and salty ribs2 of 5 mostly because of the experience
I had my dog in the front seat and they gave me some extra pork to feed her! There are lots of negative reviews about tops, but you can’t go wrong with a bacon cheeseburger and baked beans. The nachos are great too! Maybe it’s because we haven’t had the “old” tops, but we are big fans. The great service is a plus too!
Their sandwiches are superb. Their service is outstanding. We were even given bones for our dogs. The only not so wonderful thing were the BBQ beans.
Bought two sandwiches, a pint of slaw, and a pint of beans to take home. The beans were straight out of a can, no meat added, nothing. When I took my first bite of the sandwich, the first thing I noticed was an overpowering flavor of mustard in the sauce. Absolutely no bark in the pork. The slaw had a little too much onion. Seems like all the tops locations are not as good as they used to be. Slaw and beans aren't uniform from one location to the next.I will still to buy their product, hopefully get a good location occasionally. It's OK but not great like it used to be.
