Got my food on time but Lord somebody new is cooking. I just moved back to OB & was happy to go back to Southern Hands but this time everything was off. Baked Chicken just dry I couldn’t even chew it. Boiled Okra was way too salty definitely could put you in the hospital off one bowl. Dressing taste just like medicine. Mac didn’t have no cheese just flavored noodles. Candy YAMS & cornbread were the only thing that past the taste test. I threw the rest away. Won’t get me twice!
Great place to eat a home cooked meal! The food is great and the workers are so nice and always happy!
Poor services! I can't never get anyone on the phone when having an issue with my food or online orders or even if you just have a question they won't return your phone calls your food don't be right. People be on their lunch breaks and they take forever
Awww man, the food is delicious. The atmosphere is very homey and friendly. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Definitely home style soul food. Recommend it to everyone looking for good soul food. ??

My job places a big order here every other week. The food is always good and the service is fast, even in the busy lunch rush.
Customer service needs to be improvement you never rush anyone to order if they still looking at the damn menu. Never coming Here again worst business in the area.That's what I said.
I will NEVER spend my money there again! I ordered two meals, got home and was missing the Salisbury steak. I went into the dump the next day to get my refund, before I could finish explaining what the problem was the manager said, "You didn't get your Salisbury steak did you?" I responded no and told her that I wanted a refund for the one meal that was missing the meat! She refused and got really disrespectful. She got so loud and disrespectful to the point that the cook came up front and asked her to calm down. She continued to be rude and even included another customer in the conversation. I spoke with "Ms. Nikki" from a memphis location. She explained that she knew who I was talking about and she then apologized and assured me that the owner would be calling me. Nobody called!! I have my receipt as a reminder to never go back! I will continue to let everyone that I know not to spend a dime in this customer service lacking establishment!!
Good soul food! Finally a decent place to eat! The vegetables tasted fresh! friendly staff! Dining area is small but plenty of room.
