The food was great. Marcus was very attentive to our family. We ordered bbq, smoked turkey sandwich and chicken fingers. All of which were terrific. I read some of the reviews, some were not very good, but I found this place to have very good food!!
I was looking for a place that wouldn't be too loud so we could have a conversation. This was definitely place. We had the BBQ sandwich plate (regular & a jumbo). The BBQ sauce is a little on the sweet side but not bad. You will definitely need to eat the jumbo with a fork because it's too big to pick up. My okra was cooked fresh.The waitress was nice and efficient. The only things is she had her hair up initially, then came out of the kitchen with it down, then made another trip with it up, so it just gave the impression she was messing with her hair in the kitchen.I didn't take any photos but the ones in other reviews are current .
Food was really good! We were a little leery to eat here because of the low reviews, but like to make our own option on food. It was a perfect lunch stop!
Husband and I are over the road drvers, last year alone we went to 42 states, we always go bbq every chance we get. This place is in my opinion is the worst bbq in the USA. Bbq ribs were burnt up and every side comes straight from a package, except for the salad. I am fairly certain the ribs were cooked in an oven versus a smoker, no flavor. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. Just YUCK don't waste your time and hard earned dollars, you will regret it!! I literally thought about making a complaint to management but feared they might choose to replace the food I ordered, no thanks!!!
This is not for me. Coleslaw was very bland and watery. Baked beans were good. The bbq half chicken tasted like it was cooked in the oven.
The best ribs I’ve ever had! Stopped through town and tried it and the owner is basically a one man show, smoking the ribs and waiting on tables. He was so nice and welcoming and i will definitely return!
Fast Friendly and hot . Nice folks work there. Breakfast is great on Saturdays are the best. Good old folks shooting the breeze
Really good food and the folks there are even better. You can order at the counter or be served at a table. The waitress and waiter we had were so friendly. Good time and smiles all the way!
Staying in the hotel across the street. Been there a few times. Honestly it's just close to the hotel and that's why I've gone there. The food is sub par at best the portion sizes are week.... the jumbo sandwiches are a joke. Minimal meaning the food. The last time I went there I was overcharged I bought a jumbo sandwich with a side of Mac and beans... that was the plate it was supposed to be 9.25 it was 1150 I was charged separately for the sides. O was trying to be cool and just said hey I'll take that it's fine I'll just have Mac and cheese with more beans as well. The girl also told me it was because of a price increase is why it looked lithat. What irritated the heck out of is they gave me the same exact portions of the 9.25 plate. This place does not represent the asthetic it teys to be. Of your a soccer mom trying to take team out for dinner and don't care about wastingoney eat here. If you like actual BBQ cooked with love and quality eat anywhere else. You would literally be more happy with Arby's.
Love that this business is family owed and operated. Good food! The Bar-b-que salad is great. They have a meeting room and lots of dine in space to sit and eat.
