Fun times. & good service
We walked in with my wife’s service dog. Service dogs are allowed ANYWHERE their handler is allowed BY LAW!The only two questions an establishment is allowed to ask are…1. Is that a service dog?2. What service does the dog perform? The hostess asked us for the dog’s I.D. There is no such thing legally speaking. She said her manager required her to ask. So I politely began to explain the above questions and she told me to calm down.I then chose to leave. The American Disabilities Act of 1990 has been in force for 32 years and there are still idiotic places like this that have no idea how to deal with the disabled.Happily I’m only a visitor and won’t have to deal with them ever again. But I feel bad for the local crowd who may have a service dog.
Very good food was fresh and very hot
Staying next door at The Hampton Inn and Mexican food sounded yummy. Walked across the street to eat here and was instantly disappointed when food arrived. Ordered the Chimichanga and the serving size was so small I finished my meal before my husband...that never happens! The Spinach dip had so much Spinach in it we couldn't hardly get any cheese. Was not worth the $$
Birsimi is a beef tacos dipped in spices. Yummy served with rice, cilantro and onions
Great service...only restaurant in olive branch open past 10. Very kind and welcoming. Great fast service and good food.
Man, so this has always been my Go To spot. Super fast and super good food. Always loved the multiple options on fajitas. Came in today craving my usual only to find out the owner decided to change the menu and removed a ton of options. Now to get what I want I have to pay extra for add ons. Super disappointing. Nothing crazy either, I simply wanted combination fajitas with chicken, steak and shrimp. Now it's just either or and you have to pay extra for the other. So check before you get hyped up, your favorite may be gone. Food was still great though so that's a good thing.
I went today for a late lunch and deeply regretted it. The food wasn't good, customer service was horrible and management is lazy and does not care about the customers. How are you to lazy to print update menu's with updated prices, stating that they posted a piece of paper at door and in the front page of the menu about prices going up do to the price of things have went up which is understandable but how is a customer supposed know exactly how much something is and what they are paying for without a surprise bill. Our waiter Wilmer was very uninterested serving us as we had long wait times for everything. Food wasn't good and very skimpy for what was served to us. The manager didn't care at all when I spoke with him which makes it understandable why we received the customer service we did from Wilmer. I have been a regular customer for years but the standards are steady declining and today was the last straw. Don't waste your money or time at Casa mexicana olive branch location
I would give 0 stars if possible. The food was served and was not completely done, the waiter did not write down our order and despite having repeated it several times he would not write it down and brought the wrong food to us first, walked off and left us with one person having parts of an order brought out but the other two of us had to sit 20 minutes waiting for ours only to get the wrong stuff then only getting half of the right stuff. Asked for manager and the man was so rude. He said it was free of charge because no one ate more than one bite but he made a loud scene about it. Also there was a significant language barrier between us and our server, which is why he needed to write it down but would not. I can’t even list the number of times we repeated our order and asked if he got it and then he didn’t! Add that to the rude manager on Saturday 2-26-22 it ruined our anniversary dinner! TERRIBLE!!
