Green beans, black-eyed peas, mashed potatoes, chicken and dumplings, sweet tea, and cornbread are delicious. Meatloaf tastes like pasty dough and beans or something. I didn't taste beef. Meatloaf is dry with no taste of onions, bell peppers, or celery. Sauce on top is on the mild, spicy side. I'll never order meatloaf in the future. I will perhaps order another meal if not very hungry. I did some heavy closet cleaning, along with other household chores and had a good appetite. Vegetable portions are small. I'd say about 3/4 of a 4 oz to 6 oz styrofoam cup. Counter top was wet and sticky from beverage area. Service was very friendly and pleasant. It's a good place to go when you need a HEALTHY meal with vegetables, especially as an affordable fast food on the way home too tired to cook after a long day.

One of my favorite places to eat. Been coming here for years.. Always good food..

We are working in this area for the week and thought it was time to try this establishment. I know there is one near our house and I have never tried it. I was pleased to find out there was no meat in the veggies. I will just get the veggie plate next time for the fish which is the only meat I eat is not the best quality of fish. I thought the spicy broccoli was pretty darn delicious. I will say the staff was friendly and the place was clean. I most likely will eat here again at some point before I go back to St.petersburg Florida.

The food was ok. But the little old lady in the front was kinda rude. Maybe she was having a bad day but don't take it out on your customers .?‍♀️

Wow did you all see the sarcastic reply to my previous review. ? I guess the days of caring and customer service is just plain over with. They DO NOT CARE; Serve people anything and take their money. These restaurants aren't any better than a theif! Think about it...that's exactly what they are doing. SMH

My mom got the fish sandwich. It was a fillet on a piece of wheat bread. The sandwich was tightly wrapped almost like a hot dog and the sauce made the bread soggy. The broccoli casserole was rice and cheese with a bit of broccoli. Neither was hot. It's a restaurant. Not a backyard fish fry...USE A BUN!

Worse food I have ever bought. Way to much salt on the meatloaf. It was very dry without much flavor. Baked chicken was dry. Mashed potatoes salty. Slaw too course. $36 waisted. Threw most of it away. Never again!!!

Okay so I was having a rotten day last week when I stopped in for lunch and this girl greeted me like I was her long lost best friend! She turned my whole day around! Thank you ?I really appreciate when people go above and beyond to make customers feel not only welcome but happy!

Good southern cooking. My mom and I were craving fried pork chops and we got them here. They were great. They greens and cornbread were awesome as well.

Yesterday, the baked chicken was so salty and tough that I could not eat it. Also, the turnip greens were just barely warm. I usually really like Abby's food but the last few times food has been just barely warm and the Lima beans were dried out. Food is pricey so care should be given in preparation.
