The food was tasty but we had to wait 30 minutes for our banana pudding. I guess it's made fresh per order, it was very tasty when it finally came. They have a great selection of drinks and food. I think our favorites were the garlic Parm wings and jambalaya. My sister loved the crab cake sandwich.
Fantastic food. Fantastic atmosphere. Fantastic staff. As military, we had some family visiting us from AZ who wanted a true Southern Crawfish boil...we weren't able to give them that but, from reviews, saw that this place was as close as you could get. We've only been living here a couple of years but the spice level here was perfect, and, considering how late in the season it is, we only had to throw out about three crawfish from the entire plate. Every single person on the staff was so friendly and even let our visitors go watch them add the mudbugs to the boil. He was also so excited to show them a leech when he found it.During our meal they ran out of the beer I was asking for but gave me what was left and comped a whole other beer.
This is a very casual eatery a downtown Ocean Springs. Crawfish is the big draw. There are plenty of tables inside and outside as well as ample parking in the back. Even though they have fans going it can get a little hot at times. We had the poboy with shrimp and enjoyed it.
My friend & I drove along Hwy. 90 from Bay St, Louis, Miss., to Ocean Springs, Miss., for lunch. We were both hungry since we had skipped breakfast. I ordered the shrimp & grits and my friend ordered the shrimp boil platter, which came in a small boat. I have to say that this was among the best shrimp & grits I've ever eaten (and I've eaten that dish a lot!). The grits were creamy and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. What made this dish pop was the sauce. It was sort of like an Alfredo sauce but also like a Bechemel. Whatever it was, it was delicious. The staff was very friendly (can't recall the server's name) but a co-owner, Joe, came over to speak with us. What a pleasant food experience. We will go back the next time we're in Ocean Springs. Thanks, Joe, and staff.
I visited this eatery twice while visiting the area. My lunch experience was great. Zack our server was on point. Our app was the bang bang shrimp. I had shrimp tacos and my friend had shrimp poboy. It was all good.My dinner experience wasn't the same. We ordered the seafood platter w/crawfish, royal reds, crab legs, sausage, corn and potatoes. It wasn't the greatest. The crab legs tasted old and too salty. The crawfish and royal reds was really good.
Such a funky, chill place to come eat seafood and have a beer or two. The crawfish were amazing. Good quality crawfish, really clean, nicely seasoned with a good spice without being painful (granted if you have a low spice tolerance, this will be really spicy for you). You get a ton on the platter too! The fixings of potatoes, corn, and sausage were really good. A nice palate cleansing between the crawfish if you will. I highly suggest asking for extra butter on the corn and potatoes. Our waitress was really nice and knowledgeable, and she didn't bother us too much but she checked in enough to make sure we were always okay.Overall this is a great place, and definitely a must try!
Gator tacos were amazing, 10 bucks. Wife had the flounder, good size, 17 bucks. Old fashion was solid. Outdoor seating was nice and waitress was friendly. Good overall experience.
Nice ambience for a Beautiful sunny afternoon lunch. outside dining and the Prices are reasonable. The food is delicious. The CRAWFISH are Super Tasty and the servers are friendly, courteous and attentive. Our server ARMANI was professional, patient and precise.
This was our first stop after arriving in Mississippi. The food was delicious. My husband had the Shrimp Po Boy and my daughter and I split the Ruby Red Platter. The only issue was the service was slow. The waitress did explain they had 2 servers call off. Given the stay of thing in March 2022. This is unfortunately a common theme and we didn’t let it take away from how delicious the food was.
Good crawfish, both fraud and boiled. Excellent sides and beverages. Be careful if you get a Bushwacker; it will knock you out. The service leaves a lot to be desired.
