The sushi was excellent. Prepared with a great taste and temperature. My daughter had eaten here before with her mother so she recommended it.\\n\\nThe service was slow. It wasn't horrible but I had to finally wave the waiter/bartender down after waiting for refills for close to 15 minutes because he was more interested in flirting with the young lady at the end of the bar than checking in on us.. the only table eating in the place at that time.
Shrimp tempura is my absolute favorite, however seeing it repeated so much on the menu was surprising. The edamame was great and the staff was kind. The sushi rolls tasted terrible with presentation seriously lacking. The hibachi I opted for the second time around to try was basically inedible. I had 3 bites and went home and ordered dinner. I so wanted to love this place.
Went to meet friends and the music was so loud it caused hearing damage. There were no warnings of dangerous noise levels and everyone I talked to was complaining that the speakers were hurting their ears. It is a restaurant not a concert hall. The volume was turned up during the performance and I couldn’t take it anymore and left and now my ears are hurting and I can’t hear very well out of my right ear. I’ve been to lots of shows and lots of venues with loud music and it has never been as ear piercing and damaging as this event. I’m sure others can agree as plenty of people were much closer to the speakers than me. There was no safe place to stand in the building unless you were in the bathroom or outside in the cold.
This location was highly recommend to us while we were traveling through so I was a little disappointed. It seems like this location has a lot of potential but is just missing the mark. The staff was super friendly, it felt like a true family environment while keeping a cool atmosphere with live music. Most of the food seemed to be cooked without seasoning and then topped or dunked in sauce after the fact. The nigiri was average but I expected better quality fish being on/near the coast. Our server brought us plates and forks and then a few minutes later removed them from the table as someone in our party was reaching to grab them. Also continued to take items off of our table before we were finished and reached over someone in our party to grab napkins out of the dispenser on our table.
Good sushi. Sweet staff. Nice live music. Fun night out. We will be back.
AMAZING! Great food, super clean, friendly staff, and the most fun I’ve had eating sushi! Thanks spoonwater I’ll definitely be back!
We were very impressed with this place. The wait staff and food was very good. We sat outside and was able to listen to live music and pet the dogs. My one thing would be I wish they had a larger menu. It's pretty small in comparison to most sushi places I have been.
They had fantastic drinks and good service! I loved the bar design, along with the good music there too. I had a fun time catching up with old friends! I’ll definitely be coming back for Sushi!
Granted it was a very busy weekend, but the service was horrible. I can't speak for myself because I never received my order. The other 3 in our party got there's and said food was at best okay..
Nothing fancy, seems like premade sushi...
