I came here to pick up a delivery order and had no acknowledgment of my presence (only customer in the store) for over 10min. The staff looked so unmotivated and I watch one young lady by the ice creamMachine sticking her tongue out and taking selfies while working. I remember the days when people actually greeted you and were friendly. No smiles at all.
Do NOT order a black ice coffee at this place. They have no clue how to make one. First i got a ice latte. I told the lady that it is not what i ordered. She tried to tell me that it was just coffee and ice.. (it was white)Then i recieved hot coffee with a few ice cubes. (luke warm coffee now). I asked for a big cup of ice and the picture show the results... And they had the nerve to charge 2 bucks for what resembles a watered down ice tea ?
Every time we go to this McDonald’s the ice cream machine is down, they don’t staff enough people to handle the volume of business and the wait is long to order our food. You need better managers to run a busy store and not kids who don’t care about their jobs. I worked for McDonald’s in Missouri for 8 years and I’ve never seen as many McDonald’s that don’t have ice cream because the machine is always down. Number one best seller anytime is ice cream.
By far the worst fast food experience I have ever encountered and it takes a lot for me to complain. At first they seemed somewhat busy, however after 37 minutes of waiting and them only calling 3 orders ahead of us, the problem wasn’t a busy issue but an employee issue. Numerous employees standing around, eating food on the line. The poor teen ahead of us ordered one ice cream and still at our 35 minute mark had yet to receive it. We finally checked in and 5 minutes later they come back with our food, except it was 1/3 of the order. We asked for a refund, then another girl tried giving us more food bringing us to 2/3 our order. We got our refund and could hear a lady in the back talking about not minding rude customers. After a 40+ minute ordeal, yes we were just ready to be done.
First of all I get it, covid-19 lack of employees etc 24-hour McDonald's. With that being said, after getting off work this morning hungry and tired and ready to go home, I waited in the Drive-Thru at McDonald's on Washington avenue and I-10 in Ocean Springs Mississippi in the pouring rain at 1:00 a.m. Had multiple people in front of me and multiple people behind me. I counted eight cars before I finally got to the drive-thru speaker,, in a two-lane drive-thru, that's four cars in each drive-thru lane. At 1:45 a.m. they advised me through the speaker that they were cash only, and there was going to be a delay to stand by. 10 minutes later at 1:55 a.m. they finally got back to me and stated, what could they start for me? I asked them for a crispy chicken sandwich. They stated no sir they were out. So I asked if they had spicy any chicken sandwiches, and they advised they did. So I ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches and a large diet Coke. At 2: 04 A.M. over an hour later from the start of this adventure, I finally made it to the drive-thru window. Without verifying my order or collecting any money they handed me a big bag with Big Macs in it. I told them I did not order this and handed it back to them. I re-advised them of my order, and they handed me a small bag with two spicys and my diet coke. I handed them a $20 bill they shut the window, and I immediately took a bite and and guess what? Both sandwiches were so ice cold that they could have been stored in a refrigerator. It then took them another 3 minutes to make change for my $20 bill, and overpaid me by a dollar, that I didn't notice till after I drove off! Look I don't care what the situation is and who you are this is unacceptable business etiquette, and very poor mismanagement, to serve approximately 10 people an hour with multiple people working in there!!!! Completely unacceptable to have this level of incompetence. Completely unacceptable to have the attitude that you're not in no hurry, and you're going to take your time, because you get paid by the hour. Completely unacceptable to have the drive-thru line all the way to the road! And have multiple people honking their horns and yelling and getting upset driving off! 10 people an hour does not justify business sense to keep the lights on! Check the receipts! Speaking of which they didn't give me a receipt for my cash transaction so I can't even show you that!
Service is normally pretty good and line moves fast enough but McDonald’s in general has gone down hill. Ordered two sausage burritos for breakfast and it was almost completely tortilla with a sprinkle of egg and sausage. If you need to charge more to make a sandwich or something then do it so people will come back.
If you've been to one you've been to them all. That being said the staff was nice, but didn't go out of there way to be helpful including the one member of management I did see. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed my meal, and by that I don't mean they weren't doing their jobs because they were. What it does mean is that they weren't looking to go the extra mile, or to go above and beyond to help a elderly woman safely get to her table with her tray that looked to be a little too heavy for her. It means someone should've grabbed the door for the man whose arms were so full he nearly dropped his drink, that is the extra mile I'd have liked to have seen here. The burgers, and nuggets were hot/tasty, fries could've been fresher but not so old you couldn't eat them. So I'd have to say if fast food/burgers are "what's for dinner" than this branch of Mickey D's isn't a bad place to go and is better than average.
3 of the employees were on break during lunch and caused the entire store to backup. Waited for 48 minutes for my order and customers already in the store before us were in line for 20 minutes without anyone at the counter taking orders. Won't come back to this McDonald's. This isn't the first instance of this happening and is becoming the norm for this location. I recommend looking into this
If I could leave -10 stars, I would. These cows working for $15 an hour treat every customer and transaction like it’s not their job and they’re waiting for someone else who cares to come do it.It’s a literal shock that McDonalds is even in business anymore. We waited over 30 minutes for A FILET OF FISH. THAT’S ALL WE ORDERED AND IT TOOK 30 EFFING MINUTES. She goes “that’s not my problem” ?Screw this McDonald’s, if I could’ve caught the girl’s name I would’ve included it.
I just went through the drive thru and had a very simple order. 6pc nugget with sweet and sour sauce. Hamburger happy meal with extra pickles, apple slices. Get home no apple slices, no pickles at on the burger and no sauce for the nuggets. This place is the worst McDonald’s on the coast
