We walked in for lunch but it smelled very strongly of burnt food. The smell was so bad that we had to leave.2nd visit... 3 of us went for lunch. All 3 of us had something wrong with each of our orders. I was given the wrong soup, my sister ordered broccoli and cheese into her surprise she found that she had a piece of macaroni in it, I ordered a ham sandwich for my mother and it came out toasted after I specifically said not toasted, so I sent it back and we never got it back until it was time for us to leave. I asked to see the manager but she never came out. So I then called the district manager when I got home and told her what had happened. She is making it right. Hopefully the next try they will get it right.

We used this Ocean Springs location for a large catered event Memorial Day. Everything was OUTSTANDING! They went above and beyond to make our event a huge success! Thank you to Management and crew and especially Kevin from Door Dash, who was also PERFECT! Thank You!!!!!!Mississippi International Girl. 2022

Ordered on doordash and all I can say is disappointed. I know that it can be hard and things right now in the world. They put cucumbers on my kids salad when I checked for none, my bread was so toasted for my sandwich I only could eat certain parts, and no pickles when I asked for them with my sandwich. I made sure to check to make sure I asked for these things before writing this. They shoved it all in one bag and it was all overturned so food was in the bottom. I wanted a healthier option but at this point I should of just got fast food.

Staff here is amazing. Food is great. We come here all the time.

I’ve lived in town for about 14 years and sadly this store is just plummeting. it’s always super short staffed and takes forever. my mom and I still go though because she really likes the food. we got to the counter and this poor cashier is trying so hard to find things on the menu. she apologizes and says it’s her first day. there’s not a SOUL up there to help her at all. no one. we were super patient with her because it’s not her fault. she did end up finishing our order after someone finally came to the front and helped her. it’s just sad. they’re so short staffed that there’s not even anyone to help the new employees out. over all i’m not sure what mcalisters has to do to get some employees in the door but they need to do it soon or they’re not going to make it.

This place has gone rapidly down hill. Painfully slow service for food that isn't great to begin with. I went as a healthy alternative to fast food and ended up with one order they couldn't make (from the menu), followed by a wrong order. Staff busy messing around. I waited over 30+ minutes. Not going back.

Both times I've been to McAlister's I feel like I've been riped off. Food is fine. Their pricing is another thing. First time the tipping process was not explained and I ended up giving a $6 tip for a $13 dollar sandwich. The guy at the registered laughed. This visit I ordered online and with my sandwich ordered a pasta salad. No pasta salad. Ok. How about a side salad? No question about dressing. Ok. Now when I arrive my 8.99 sandwich is $17 plus. I knew I ordered a sweet tea but what else??? Turns out they charged me $3.49 upcharge for the side salad and $.50 for a side of honey mustard that normally comes on the sandwich but I asked for it on the side. Good grief. When I complained the guy offered no resolution. Seriously this is not the way to build customers by making them feel riped off.

Been going here for a few years, generally every Monday for lunch. Sadly it’s an ongoing joke amongst ourselves about it being correct and lately more often than not it’s wrong. And sadly wrong. Today when the worker FINALLY brought my food I showed her my receipt and the sandwich which was incorrect. She went to the kitchen and they actually argued with her that it was what I ordered which it was not. But they did give me two cookies.

Stopped by on a whim and glad I did! Great customer service and a really good sandwich!
