Just ate there for lunch & I'm giving a 1 star bc of the customer service from the owner. My Mother ordered fried oysters & they were so nasty she couldn't eat them. I quietly & respectfully informed our server that the oysters were slimy & had a horrible taste like they were straight from a jar & barely thrown in the fryer. Our server spoke with the owner & came back to tell us "fried oysters are supposed to be slimy & for future reference, order them extra crispy". Umm, excuse me?? My mother orders oysters every where she goes if they have oysters on the menu & she has never complained about not liking them much less not able to eat them! The owner did not offer to take at least a little off of our ticket for the oysters that wasn't ate nor did they offer to come out of the kitchen and speak with us. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was actually really good so our only concern was the oysters but the poor & rude customer service from the owner was disappointing! And bc of that, our family will not support Lancaster's ever again & I will not recommend them to anyone.
We dined there abd were amazed at how delicious the food is. Very moist chicken breast with veggies abd potatoes. Great place fir home style cooking. The staff abd owner are very nice. Thank you. We will be seeing you soon in May 2022.
I had a salad and it was delicious. Great portions as well
The place is very gaudy, not very clean, and the portion sizes (excluding the salads) are very small. Would not recommend unless you like store bought rolls and dry, flavorless chicken. Won't be back.
Staff was friendly, only 1 waitress that night.Price on some items were pricey. Food was good.
I just had the Chicken Fried Chicken plate. It was some kind of good!!! I highly recommend this place, you won’t regret it.

Their “Sassy” omelette is everything! Stuffed with shrimp, crab meat, crawfish, tomatoes, & spinach! It’s good by itself, but I always add sautéed onions & bell peppers! With grits & a biscuit & it’s more than enough. Also their Belgian waffles are so dense & delicious… perfectly cooked! We always order takeout & the it’s always hot & ready at the estimated time. Whether you are a local or just passing through & want a taste of the Gulf Coast, the “Sassy” omelette is where it’s at!
