One of our favorite places for lunch is Ocean Springs! We love the selection of oysters both raw and charbroiled. We've also eaten the "Mac Fatty", Chicken wraps, the Woodstock and the Boogie Bombs. My wife ordered the Royal Reds during one of our visits and they weren't up to par. We mentioned it to the bartender and he quickly replaced it with another item. So why not a 5? Service can be hit or a miss. They are also closed on Monday and Tuesday - what a bummer.
Went to Keg and Barrel for the first time tonight. The atmosphere was beautifully relaxed. Our waitress, Karlee, was so upbeat, attentive, and helpful. She even went as far as to shuck AND cooked our oysters, making sure they were fresh to serve. I would highly recommend stopping by here and trying out their delicious food. Ask for Karlee, you won't be disappointed!
Over five minutes for a different waitress to ask if we’ve been served. Our actual waitress barely stopped by our table and was visibly high. She would stop and chat with another table every time she passed. All during a slow Sunday service. Meals were good but the seafood bread appetizer was cold.
Callie , our waitress, was absolutely wonderful!! The Greek trio appetizer was perfect. They make their own hummus and also feta dips. Delicious! I had the bourbon salmon and it too was perfectly cooked as was the asparagus. Will definitely return!!!A++++++!!
We had the oyster trio and the fillet gorgonzola. This was absolutely delicious. I recommend enjoying lunch here. We really liked sitting on the patio.
Had a rueben and it was really wonderful. My wife is recovering from cancer treatment and is sensitive to spices. Unfortunately she was unable to enjoy her meal. The staff immediately came out and offered to make her another meal without spices. That is true Customer service!!
Staff are great, but this time the food was subpar. We get the seafood bread pretty regularly but this time it should have been served with a spoon. It was soggy bread sitting in soup. Seriously. Like a bisque poured over bread. Other than that I thought the other food was ok but my wife has been in the bathroom all night expelling her stomach contents from both ends. ?♂️
Loved the Thai chicken lettuce wraps! Seriously spicy and amazing! Ask for the spicy soy sauce on side, it goes so well with the peanut sauce! Keg stand burger was ok, handcrafted patties were under seasoned. Pretty long list of beers, nice variety and reasonable prices. Under $60 for two people with app, two entrees, and three drinks.
Went in on Sunday evening for dinner. (1/16/22) Was seated quickly, then...... waited. We waited for 25 minutes, had 2 servers pass us by, we were never acknowledged, never brought water, never asked for drink order...nothing. They were not busy, there were only 2 other tables in our section with people at them. The entire restaurant was not busy, staff standing around.We will not be back
Place is tucked away nice and cozy, but don’t miss out! They have the best assortment of oysters on the coast, and our server Hannah made our experience even better! Ask for her!
