We have tried this location a few times in hopes it would get better. We love Mexican food and have been looking for a nice restaurant to have a weekly margarita and tacos. Unfortunately, this place is not it. We like to sit at the bar for quick service of drinks but each time, we have received no customer service. We found ourselves hunting down our server for everything. Once, we came in, told the hostess we were going to the bar (the restaurant was empty), and sat there for 15 min. And no one ever came. We walked back to the hostess stand and no one was at the hostess stand. After a few moments, we left and decided we wouldn’t be back. There was a male server with long black hair that was always rude and didn’t want to help. Naturally, he was always the one we ended up having because he was at the bar. We do give it a star because the choriqueso dip was really good. If you want good service and good food, go one exit over to Pedro’s in Doverville- you won’t regret it!

drinks are good but service not. had to stop going and was going on a regular 5xweek for two months. as of now wouldn't take my dog

The good:- Main restaurant area looks clean.- The waiter was very nice.- Shredded chicken was great. The bad:- Restrooms in bad need of repair ( no soap, paper towel dispenser broken. Restroom door broken. Toilet did not have proper flushers.)- Salsa was extremely watery, had some spice but zero flavor. Was not worth eating.- Food served on cold plate

Eat here frequently, at least 3 times a month or more. Generally we are quite satisfied with the food and service. However today at lunch April 20th 2022, we had a terrible experience with our waiter. He couldn't understand what we were ordering, so we had to be very specific on each order. We had taken our grandchildren for lunch and our Autistic grandson literally gets sick even with the thought of cheese on his food. So my wife told this waiter 3 times "no cheese on his taco plate". We all specified the lunch plates except for our oldest. When we received our lunch, all were wrong except one. The main concern was cheese on my grandsons taco. We all stopped and had the waiter bring back the taco because of the cheese, he returnes with a new taco and guess what, with cheese. My grandson became frustrated, didn't want to eat at all, we were able to calm him down, sent the taco back again, pointing out again to the waiter NO CHEESE Please. Finally he gets it right. We were a party of five, when we received our bill, low and behold they charged us for 6 plates. And all plates were full charge not lunch prices. We paid for the overcharge but not the sixth plate, I figure they would go back to the ghost at the table and collect that one.. However Jalapenos is still a great place for good food. Our complaint is toward this one waiter..

This was not just another California burrito! Everything was perfectly seasoned. The chicken and steak were hot and juicy. I was very impressed that the steak wasn't tough and dry like other spots in the area.

Ordered Take Out by phone Last Night My First Experience here… However My Order was Incorrect Missing Another Burrito However We were already Home Thankfully The One Burrito was Able to Feed Two The Burrito Was Fantastic ‼️ Next Time I Will Double check My Order

We did a family birthday dinner with family and friends and had a dozen people ordering. I was impressed with the waitress as well as with the food, that is, with the cost of the food and the portion amount, the presentation of the food and especially the taste of the food. This was my first time eating at this restaurant and I have eaten at several other restaurants like this and right now I would put them number one on my list. Everybody needs a night out, go out and enjoy one, whether it's a family outing, or date or you're just hungry and do it at the Jalapeno grill!!

Good was great and the service was excellent!

Really not impressed w this place. Went for the 1st time last night w a group of friends. I understand that we all have our days being service industry but the server we had was bad. 2 of the women there had ordered a glass of Cabernet. Cab was old & smelled like vinegar. Being a bartender, we all know that all wines have an expiration date. Was not drinkable in the least bit. The hostess then brought an unopened bottle of Cabernet by Liberty Creek after we had been sitting there an hour in. Maybe the server was in the weeds but he wasn't paying much attention to us. Had to mention several times as far as drinks went. We all were nice to him regardless. A lady had ordered a soft chicken taco + mentioned that her food was cold. Also, when plating a quesadilla, it's supposed to be cut beforehand. I'm all for trying new places but I won't be back. I hope he gets better as a server + wish all the best.

Went a tried jalapeño Grill for the first time tonight and was also the last time we will ever go there. We waited 30+min just to get our drinks ordered which was only a coke and sweet tea. Our order after waiting 45 min was wrong and gross. Food was like eating out of a grease trap and our waitress asked if I wanted corn or flour tortillas, I responded with corn and I got flour. Food was also cold for one of us. If Gordon Ramsey was to eat this he would shut it down.
