I ate this evening Friday July 22nd 2022 . By far the best steak I ever ate anywheres . We were sat very quickly , ordered an food was brought out unbelievably fast . Waitresses were on point , very sweet N professional ! Ya’ll were awesome thanks !
The waitresses were very nice!! They were patient with our kids, and the food was great! Nice little business! I will come back the next time we visit! Steak was tender, the grilled shrimp were small but had a great taste! Complimentary rolls were good as well…
Exceptional steak, fantastic service and a good value. We had a wonderful dinner with family. All agreed the steaks were cooked to perfection. The flavor and quality was as good as any we had tasted before. We had heard really good things about this restaurant, and all the rave reviews are absolutely true.If you visit the Ocean Springs area, be sure to visit Cheryl's for a really great steak
Me, my wife and 6 of our friends were looking for someplace that wasn't a chain, off the wall, or stupid expensive for a good steak and a fellow we met on the sidewalk in the old part of Ocean Springs told us to give Cheryl's a try! So we took a ride and found their place... All I can say is WOW!!! Probably one of the best steaks I've ever had, the service was excellent and the key lime pie was spot on!!! I don't know what their secret recipe is for their marinade but they are definitely doing something right!!! We will be back on our next trip for sure!!!Oh and YES the auju left on the plate from the steak is "Sop it up with a yeast roll delicious"!!!
It is true...they have an open fire that the steaks are cooked on. If you are "asmatic" from the smell, stay out. This is an award winning and highly rated steak house. The steaks are awesome, flavorful, tender, and amazingly juicy. Cheryl your steaks are awesome! There are no sauces served here because it would ruin the work that has been meticulously deployed in this meal.
My favorite steak house! Love this place! Such great food for great prices! My steak must be WELL done, not even a tinge of pink. I expect a dry steak, due to this preference. Cheryl knows how to cook to perfection and my steak is as tender as my husband's medium rare ribeye! To top it off, the wait staff can not be beat! A++++ to Cheryl's!
Great little place. The steaks were great. Cooked exactly how we ordered them the potato soup was excellent and a home made recipe. The peanut butter pie is DIVINE! The service was great and friendly, and quick. We got there right when they opened and they filled up quickly. We will be back!
So glad we stopped here! The service was great, everyone was so sweet. Food was delish, nothing disappointing, and it all came out very quickly. You can smell the good food right when you walk in the door, don't let the outside of the restaurant steer you away. Definitely worth the stop, I will come again if back in the city.
The steak was DELICIOUS, the mushrooms delicious, the salad could use more ingredients beside just lettuce, the baked potato was good. The tea was great. Yhe service was great. The wait was a little long. Highly recommend this place for a night out. My 4th time to travel to Cheryl's and definitely not my last. Great experience everytime
VERY VERY smoky. Induced an asthma attack on multiple family members, cool vibe but i’m afraid i will not be returning due to the smoky smell that is stuck on my clothes and hair making me nauseous, i feel like i have been sitting by a campfire and smoked a pack of cigarettes!! I wish i could say that the food made it all worth it….. steak tasted of nothing but smoke and was quite average, although the staff was very welcoming and sweet and a cool place!!
