Great food that was very affordable. Enjoy being able to bring our dog and waiter got him water and they offer a doggie menu also. Staff was great.

The food was delicious. We walked in to eat and almost left because we thought it was just a bar. We were so glad we stayed. The seafood bread was amazing. We also had the barbecue shrimp which was equally as good. The fried fish was great also. What a surprise and can’t wait to go back!
Was vacationing from Missouri ,felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door!!! Staff was very helpful and friendly if ever we go back to the area we would go there again
We were driving through Ocean Springs and decided to stop for lunch. Every restaurant we pass was packed and there was not parking. We happened upon Castaways and did not know it was a bar. Thankfully we could sit on the patio with our 12 year old. The food was excellent! My husband had the Ruby Red Special, my daughter had fish and chips and I opted for burger. Everything was outstanding. The waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming.

After having the Royal Reds at several area restaurants, truly feel these are the best. Perfectly cooked so they are succulent, juicy and spicy. No sausage, just the usual potato and corn - but hey, I'm all about the shrimp! Also make a delicious New Orleans style shrimp that comes with garlic bread to soak up the spicy sauce. As a matter of fact, everything I've tried has been so well done you know there's a good cook back there. Service is very friendly and efficient. This is a locals hangout afternoons during the week and can get very busy. Everyone is welcomed with a smile and a thank you. Smoking is allowed but there's good seating on the patio outside.
