As a coffee professional with over 20 years in the industry, one of the things I like for in any area is a decent locally owned and operated coffee shop that roasts their own coffee. I usually fail in that regard in smaller cities / towns but damn did I strike gold in the Biloxi area!Super tiny shop with bangin coffee and tasty waffles. As a Licensed Q Grader and Green Coffee Importer, I can spot a good cup and Bright Eyed showed up. Even though the barista was slammed when I walked in, he made time to chat and to make sure I even got some waffle toppings in a to go cup.I'll come back every morning I'm in town and be very happy about it.
Driving to Florida from Houston, we stopped at the Inn behind Bright Eyed for a night. Being right there, it made morning coffee a no brainer. Line was out the door at 9am on a Monday so we knew that was a good sign. We were right! Got a nitro with oat milk, an iced vanilla latte (both of which were insanely smooth yet still packed a punch) and a waffle with powdered sugar that was the perfect amount of sweet for a morning bite. If you’re in the area and need a lil’ pick-me-up, stopping here is a must!
Just checked this little cozy spot out and let me tell you it is EASILY the best espresso I have ever had. I've had coffee all across this country and if you want the next you need to head to Ocean Springs!!
Real coffee! Best coffee I’ve had in a long time, hands down. Beautiful place, great service, and will go out of my way to go back! Don’t miss out, this place is legit. Fantastic.

The staff at bright eyed are experts at their craft. From his roast to his perfectly pulled shots, you can taste the care and expertise. And with many different signature coffees you can have a different style for whatever your heart desires. I always look forward to my next visit and chance to see the team because the owner and his wife are very kind, caring and loving people.
