Excellent food in a happy, friendly atmosphere. The staff are pleasant and polite. The Grits and Shrimp are simply fabulous. If you try this dish plan on being full the rest of the day. The Egg's Benedict is over the top, as well. I forgot the Mimosa's. The Hibiscus Mimosa is great. It is served with a Hibiscus flower in the glass, that is of course edible. Great fun!
First off if there are 21 better places to eat in Ocean Springs then it must be Flavor Town USA, stopped in Saturday for brunch and had the shrimp and grits. Can I just be honest and tell you that it was seriously the best S&G's I'd ever had, #[email protected]!^ Amazing! Other dishes had at the table that also drew praise were the blueberry Pancakes, the Crab Cake Benedict and the traditional breakfast spread with eggs, bacon, a short stack and such. Now I cant say I was trilled to spend $98 plus tip on breakfast (no alcohol consumed) but I would go back and pay it again, it was just that good.
We had a long wait time but it was worth it! We were given the absolute best server. Her name was Liv Rose. She was friendly and helpful. Her interaction with us was playful and we so enjoyed her personality! The food was phenomenal! We had the crab cakes Benedict and the spinach and mushroom frittata. This is a place that I would visit again!
This restaurant is awesome! The food was delicious! The ambience was wonderful! The staff was plentiful and pleasant! The menu was clearly marked with dietary restrictive options. My wife has Celiac disease and she did fine both times we ate here. Blue Dog Bistro is a must for gluten free dining!
Food was amazing and delicious!! It was our first time here from Louisiana, we loved that the restaurant was named after their Dog and that they had the imprint of the dog on our latte! Atmosphere was great and service was excellent!
If you are visiting Ocean Springs, this place is a MUST try! Everyone in my family loved their food! Pictured here is the baked avocado with fried egg, toast, and side of their delicious pancakes and a cold brew nitro. The ambience is modern, casual, and everyone was very friendly. Thank you for a great brunch during our visit from Seattle!
We were visiting family from out of town and they suggested Blue Dog for breakfast. It did not disappoint. We had great tasting food and a few laughs with Robert, our server. We will definitely come back.
The food was delicious and steaming hot. The wait staff was fun and attentive. Taylor our server was sweet and personable. Overall the experience was stellar and I can't wait to go back.
Excellent Sunday brunch. Ordered the Eggs Benedict and my husband ordered the Blue Dog breakfast plate with a side of pancakes. He upgraded to the blueberry ricotta pancakes served with real whipped cream. Those pancakes were sensational! So was the coffee, service, and ambience. We will return!!
I LOVED this place. Not only do they have healthy food (paleo, gluten free, vegetarian, etc, etc) they have the kindest people working here. Working in the food/service industry myself, I know how hard it can be to come by great people who make you fall in love with a place before you ever see the menu. I am a sucker for the story behind a dream and Liv made me feel apart of the family right away! Jamie was our waitress and she was great. Even the hostess was welcoming!! The banana oat pancakes were the bomb… SO MUCH FOOD!! 10/10!!
