Food was not great, hush puppies were almost rocks, greens were decent but needed more seasoning. Fish was advertised as hand feed but wasn’t very good.

The ambiance was very nice, very picturesque location. We had high expectations based upon the reviews and recommendations, however, was not impressed with the meal. The service was great and our food was served quickly and hot. We had the larger fried chicken, sweet potatoes and green tomatoes. The sweet potatoes were excellent. The chicken and fried green tomatoes were just okay. If you are looking for a nice evening out for an affordable price and decent, quick meal then this place may work for you.

We used to frequent Aunt Jenny’s and really enjoy it. This time, however, was not the same. Catfish was over breaded and fried too long in what tasted like old grease. Coleslaw mostly tasted like vinegar, but otherwise almost tasteless. I had catfish Anthony which had a very heavy sauce, way too thick, over what appeared to be boxed wild rice. Gummy tasting dish. I feel like we wasted our money and we won’t be going back.

Food and service were good as well as the views while dining. Only issue is the fact they will not bring you a take-out box to table, keeping in mind no "All you can eat" items were ordered...they took our plates back to kitchen to box and left at front counter? Trivial maybe, aggravating yes! Makes no sense and please no COVID lessen needed here, I get it but I didn't observe any other protocol being followed.

not good. catfish was dry, hush puppies was as hard as a rock, French fries tasted freezer burnt. got my lil $18 but never no more ?

We stayed in Gulfport and were craving good fried catfish. We found Aunt Jenny's on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. The portions were larger than expected. I had considered the all you can eat catfish, but went for the regular portion. 5 large fillets of catfish. Golden brown and lighter than expected. Think they must use a finer grind of corn meal, which is really a good thing. The catfish was delicious and pretty consistent. The catfish, for my tastes, seemed a bit dry, but that seems to be a Mississippi thing. We were quite pleased with the quality of the service and of the food. And will eat there again when in the area. Which we did again the next night for the fried shrimp which is under a separate review.

Fried Chicken. Fried Shrimp and sides. Few other items. Very very good food. Local favorite and is very popular. Eaten at this location since 1982. One of my personal favorites in the state of Mississippi. Fried Chicken is superior.

Charming old-house style restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. The food was delicious. The seating area is in front of large windows overlooking the bayou as well as the natural greenery outside. Boats were roaming around in the bayou and the view of those old southern oak tree's, that have grown with outstretched branches, made for an attractive view while enjoying the delicious meal.

We went in for an early dinner around 4 pm. My fried chicken was very dry. I should have sent it back but I’m too timid. My friend said that the catfish wasn’t that great. My friend that ordered shrimp said that it was pretty good. Our guess was that they served us reheated leftovers. Very disappointing since they came highly recommended. The service was good.

This is such a cute little shabby chic joint on the Gulf. We're just passing through on our way home from Phoenix to Tampa. This place was great. The food was excellent, and the service even better. I had the senior chicken plate for $10. And my husband had the senior catfish plate for $13!! They both were awesome ?They gave you two sweet potatoes on the tapas!! The homemade biscuits were to die for. And the view was icing on the cake. Definitely highly recommend.
