We loved this place. From the moment we walked in the door, Simms made us feel special and Jeremy was awesome. The food was fabulous too. Highly recommend!
We searched Google for a restaurant while traveling and found the Rustler. We were seated immediately upon arrival and our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurants interior is very nice. Cozy and classy, it's the type of place you can feel comfortable going to for any occasion, whether it's a impromptu meal while traveling or a romantic dinner. Our table ordered seafood dishes and steak dinners. The entrees came with sides and bread. Everything was cooked perfectly and was outstandingly delicious. I wish we would have had room for dessert! It was a much needed break from our travels. If our travels lead us by the Rustler again, we'll definitely be stopping in.
Definitely giving this place a 10/10. The fried crab claws had so much flavor. On top of all the amazing food I never got her name but the brunette waitress was so sweet and funny thank you so much for the wonderful service. If you read this amos: caydensanford16
We met another couple here for supper and had bacon wrapped scallops to start. The steaks are aged and delectable but even more so is the service. It is so outstanding, I could not put an adjective to it. We took bread pudding with us to go for later. It was worth every penny. I would recommend this dining experience highly.
We were traveling through on our way to New Orleans from Nashville. This restaurant was highly recommended to us after staying a night at the Threefoot Hotel in Meridian. I am so glad we dropped in. The staff and meal went way beyond our expectations. Everyone was made to feel welcome from the moment you stepped through the door and out. Thank you for a great experience!

My wife and I went to Philadelphia casinos for a couple of days and decided to go to meto a meridian restaurant and enjoy their steak and seafood. After eating there receiving top priority service and exceptional food we would recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through.. It's off the beaten path but it's worth trying out. The staff and manager were very knowledgeable and helpful with our dinner. There's a nice fireplace, low lights, candles and a full bar available. The food was, hands down, the best 5 star food we've had in a long time.
We live in Meridian and have visited the Rustler on occasions over the years. However, due to various circumstances along with the covid pandemic it has been a while since we have dined out. Even though good service has plummeted at most places of business, it's the total opposite at the Rustler; it has excelled! The hostess, server, and chef all put care into their jobs to provide an excellent dining experience. Keep up the great work!
