10/10 experience here, friendly staff and great food!
First time visit while passing through. Arrived at lunchtime on a weekend and we were the only customers. Wait time for our food was much longer than expected due to us being the only ones there.Restaurant will cutely decorated for a BBQ place.Lemonade was delicious. Baked potato was huge and overfilled with toppings. Mac and Chesse was cold, old and left a film on the top of our mouths. Baked beans were also cold and not anythjng special. The ribs were hug and ok. The BBQ sauce was very thin and had a lot of vinegar. If you like a more thick hearty BBQ sauce, this isn’t the place for you.Overall not bad but would not return.
Bethany was sweet, courteous and took care of us very well! We enjoyed her as our waitress! We will visit again!
We arrived at nearly 9pm on a Thursday evening and the place was hopping! They have live music on Thursday nights. The band was good. The food was really good too. My friend and I shared appetizers. The BBQ pork quesadillas were excellent! My friend said the onion rings were the best she's ever had - the batter tasted so light. I had been here with my sister when passing through years ago. It's a good 15 minutes from the interstate, but it's worth the extra time to get there.
Fantastic BBQ. Homemade sauces. Excellent food. The staff was extremely friendly. We sat outside.
No complaints! I don't love the sauce BUT IM OBSESSED WITH THE DESSERTS LOL The food is pretty good and we order from here often. The meat is always amazing, but the desserts are just soooooo good. Oder pudding✨️
I got a pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw and Fried okra.. The coleslaw needed a little more mayonnaise for it was slightly dry I added when i got home, Their okra had a peculiar seasoning I haven't tasted before but I give it a ? Cause it was Tasty, The Bbq sauce I was provided was to runny and flavorless but The Pulled Pork Sandwich alone was tasty with it smokey flavor.. Aware of all this I will still stop by and Purchase food occasionally when in Town Hopefully by that time they will have corrected some of these items..
Excellent food AND drinks, friendly service and really cool atmosphere! Minimal wait time to be seated, food came rather fast also. There's a comfy little bar area if you like adult beverages and outdoor seating for nice weather days. From the sweet tea in a big Mason jar to the fried Twinkie for dessert, we were VERY pleased with our choice today and will definitely be back!
The food was entirely mediocre with the exception of the okra which was excellent. Pulled pork was dry and sauce was ok.
I really hate to rate them only 3 but here is why. I ordered Mac n cheese with my brisket plate. I don’t know what is used but it seemed to be an off brand box microwave Mac n cheese plus it was cold.One thing that all bbq places seem to have is good sides which my home fries were. I feel kinda bad but momma always said be honest. Now the high points the pork skins were a very welcomed and surprise and the sauces which were obviously made in house were awesome. I made a little combo of honey and OG and it just set my sliced brisket off. Maybe I was just there on a bad Mac n cheese day but all in all if I’m back in town looking for bbq I would go back
