We were driving through and saw Maria's had good ratings so we stopped for lunch. Only a few people were inside. Food tasted good but service not so great. I ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla that was supposed to have beans in it. There wasn't any so I asked about it. Waiter wasn't very friendly about the discrepancy in description and what I was served. He was also rude when we asked if we pay him or somewhere else.
I passed thru here last week because I wanted some Mexican food that was near the truck stop I was parked at. I’m from Tucson Arizona, where we have some of the best Mexican food in the U.S. Anyway this restaurant is better than the food from my hometown. I left full and satisfied. Also the bill was very affordable and the service was beyond excellent!
Excellent service and nice size portions! They use black beans in a lot of dishes which I love. Margaritas on rocks were good but ask about the price ranges
A delicious menu offers a wide variety of meals. I and my traveling companion found this restaurant to be family friendly and easily accessible to the mobility impaired. The wait staff were efficient and ready to provide any assistance with the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.I had the Texas Quesodilla with the grilled beef, chicken, and shrimp. It was really tasty and well presented on the plate.My companion enjoyed the chimmychongas very much.We most certainly will visit this charming restaurant again.
Very tough inedible beef on their fajitas, server never came to check or offer something else ?

Shrimp tacos and Mexican corn on the cob! It was fantastic! Service was incredibly fast! And food was almost too hot to eat, but that's the perfect temperature! Beer or cold and then house salsa is great! Atmosphere is very pleasing! Cannot recommend enough!
We have eaten here many times and is always excellent. I ordered Supreme Nachos today...I was less than impressed. watery..soggy .just plain Nasty. Won't make that mistake ever again!!!!!

Stopped here while traveling through meridian and what a great stop it was!! The inside was so cute and some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a while! Definitely recommend the neto plate if you go.
