It was pleasant, the staff were absolutely amazing- our server was incredible!! and the food was OK…. the queso was amazing, all I know I would definitely go back

El Norte has a richly detailed interior with some great ambiance. The Mexican music is not too obtrusive and lends a pleasant background. The servers are efficient if terse, but they get the food and drinks out quickly.The best measure of a Mexican restaurant to me is the tamales. Here at El Norte they are quite good. The masa is a little bready, but the pork filling is dense and spicy. It's got a nice little accent to it. The beef enchilada is nondescript, but filling. The arroz was plentiful and aromatic.The taquitos were extremely crunchy, including the chicken filling, which was overdone and chewy.They have several Mexican beers, Coke products, and tea perfectly sweetened. Chips come out before your meal complimentary with decent salsa, and the queso is thin and tasty.We enjoyed a filling meal here.
Manager got mad because my wife didn’t like her beans, because apparently they have been making the same beans for the past 25 years and nobody else has ever complained about them, so why should she. Overall terrible service and attitude and we will not be back!!!
I have had better Mexican food. The food was bland the queso was not hot, and the server was not very attentive.

I went on Friday January 7 and I sat at the bar and the bartender was rude not helpful and a terrible allude. I WILL NOT be back. I know all about customer service. That what I do each and every day ?. I did tip BUT he could have received more
Always good food quickly and pleasantly served.
It was a great dinning experience with great customer service. The food tasted good and the waiter did not let my tea glass go empty, and that is saying a lot. It averaged out to being about $11 a person including the drink. We will be back.
